The hotel's location and view were excellent. Additionally, all of the restaurants and attractions were only a short drive from the hotel, and the staff was courteous and competent. The cookies taste good too

We travelled to enjoy dinner at THE COOK SHOP, a restaurant my husband likes but we also enjoyed driving around some of the neighborhoods, especially little Italy. GREAT coffee and pastries at Gina Cafe & Bar. We would be regulars there. The coffee was terrific and the Pastries were extraordinary. The ambience was great too as was the service. Wish we lived closer.
We visited Belle Isle on the way home and that was terrific too.

It has a very nice park area along the Detroit River, with many walking paths. Being across the river from Detroit a person has many opportunities to go to Detroit for sporting events, concerts or anything else one can think of.

We can’t really complain we had a great time. The only complaint I have is the cost was high for a one night stay and the wifi wasn’t working the greatest. Overall it was a great time and we would love to return in the future

We took this trip on the recommendation of an article in the Toronto Star of a weekend trip to Windsor (we live in Toronto) and I agree that it's an ideal place to explore for a weekend. Stay on the riverfront near downtown if possible, it's a great view and downtown store and restaurants are in easily walkable distance. Take a river cruise for an overview of both the Windsor and Detroit waterfronts. Learn about the history of Canadian whisky at the Hiram Walker and Sons distillery and tour the adjacent planned city of Walkerville set up in the 1980s. Sample Windsor-style pizza (we liked Armando's). Jackson Park is beautiful, and visit Dieppe Gardens (with the historic Spirit of Windsor steak locomotive and the Windsor Sculpture park along the river front.

We were booked to Stay in Windsor for 3 nights. We left after 2.
Our trip there was for a concert and to have fun at the casino. The casino was the most underwhelming casino I have ever been to. Didn't really explore much of the city but from what we did see, it was definitely way more terrible than I was expecting. Most of the people we met though were very nice and friendly. And the couple bars we visited were great, which were Eastwoods Grill and the Loose Goose. Staff at both places were top notch!

The hotel room were very nice and comfortable.
The hotel room were very nice and comfortable. It would have been helpful if there had been some information in the room regarding restaurants and food services at the hotel. A map of the facility is needed in the room, I understand there is pool but it was not referenced on any of the signs throughout the facility. At least not on the first or second floors.
This is my second stay at Bestway in the last 30 days. I am from Michigan. I travel on some weekends to telecommute and spend time with my boyfriend who lives in Windsor. We chose it because of the price and close proximity to the Ambassador Bridge and many restaurants and shops. They have rooms with different decor. The second room was nicer and had been renovated. Laminate floors and clean bedding. Furniture is older but clean. The Wi-Fi is reliable enough for me to work on.
The beds are the best I have every slept on, absolutely fantastic!
The bathroom and shower was amazing, the kitchen had everything I needed, the TV that greeted me by name, and the Netflix option so I could watch my series, was awesome! They even offered hot breakfast during COVID were everyone else only gives you grab bags. This was such a nice change.
I loved this hotel so much that it is going to be my home away from home for now on everytime I visit Windsor.
Great location with a great view. Riverview rooms cheaper than Caesars Windsor. Nice big screen tv. Very comfortable king size bed. Had a mini frig, yummy Nespresso coffee, an inroom safe and nice toiletries. The heating/cooling system worked great and the whole place is connected to the parking garage across the street by a glass walk through. And the best thing of all was the yummy cookies you receive at the front desk each day. LOL
I was """ transferred""" to a completely different hotel chain..not even a BEST WESTERN.. I called the B/W REWARD Center and they very kindly took care of my situation..I was really looking forward to staying at this property but it has been taken over by the government...This was a """ political""" situation and the BEST WESTERN has been notified that they should not book anyone at this hotel in the future.
Location was perfect - within reach of my activities. Main road lead to all activities, close to shopping area with all of the familiar stores/restaurants. Hosts were so very nice and welcoming. Place was very clean and tidy, smelled fresh and welcoming. I would welcome the opportunity to return anytime I visit Windsor again. Thanks to Simeon and Vida.
We came to Windsor for baseball and the location of the hotel was amazing. The pool was closed but not a shock because of the restrictions. The staff were so so soooo friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We would stay again
The location was exactly what we wanted. We were away from the tourist trap area by the Casino, but within a 10 to 15 minute drive of everything we wanted to do. Hotel was clean and front desk staff friendly.
Room was very clean. Staff were immensely helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good but I didn't eat a lot. Location was close to restaurants and shops, and conveniently equidistant from downtown and airport.
the view was good, the staff were excellent, and the room was generally comfortable, and received an upgrade to a better view than my original booking. The proximity to downtown is great as well
