Salmon Arm is a good stop between Revelstoke and Vancouver. The Hilltop Inn is a decent property located on a hill on its own. We had dinner at Mr Mike's Steakhouse which serves good food. You can hike, bike, boat and fish in Salmon Arm. Great natural settings.

it was heavy smoke from the fires, so I am not sure if I can answer. we had to go back home to Vancouver as soon as possible. My lesson from it: better to visit Salmon Arm late June-beginning of July, in order to avoid fires.

Room was spotlessly clean.
Room was spotlessly clean. Very big room with two queen beds. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was spotlessly clean. When looking for somewhere to eat the lady on the reception was really helpful and called a couple of restaurants for me to speak to.

This is a lovely town right on the lake with lots of nature and cute downtown shops to explore. There are activities for families like go-karting and mini golf. There aren't many restaurant chains if you're looking for something familiar except Boston Pizza. There seem to be a lot of local cafes and restaurants that I wish we had time to explore. The walkways near the wharf are lovely although we didn't have time this trip to go there. There's lots of opportunity for boating, and golfing.
Downtown we really enjoyed the pet store Critters, some gift shops, including The Heavenly Outhouse (!), a large game store Sanctuary Games, and a music store, Acorn Music.
Awful service and food at Wendy's. PJs has ok breakfast but slow service, and flavorless coffee. We left our reservation at Travelodge yuck, and went to the Fairfield Marriott for about $10 more. So much nicer and cleaner. Great continental breakfast buffet included.

Salmon Arm has many music events including the Roots and Blues Festival, Celebrate Shuswap dances, and Jazz music bi-monthly. The hotel is located just off the #1 Highway beside the Waterslides, Starbucks, Mr. MIKES, a Casino, and Crown and Anchor Restaurant and Bar. Lots to see and do in Salmon Arm! Hotel pool and hot tub are being renovated at this time.

Reserved online with credit card. Said no deposit required.
Reserved online with credit card. Said no deposit required. Then when I paid with debit they charged me a deposit eventhough my card was on file. And then failed to return my deposit to my debit, after 30 minutes or so and 3 employees later they managed to refund my deposit to my credit card, and told me it was a problem with my debit card! They even tried to get me to leave and they would take care of it later!! They had no problem taking my money.. will never stay here or recommend this place. Was told when checking in that breakfast is at 730. When I showed up for breakfast at 740 there was only a basket of apples and some cheap yogurt. The only good thing about this place was it was not overly expensive, But still could have been cheaper. Place is in dire need of renovations and general upkeep seems minimal on staffs part..
I’ve stayed here a few times and will continue to do so. It’s a nice hotel for when on a bit of a budget. The pool is nice and my kids loved it, the staff are all accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is really good and my kids love that they get to make fresh waffles in the morning. The beds are comfy, rooms are adequately supplied.
It’s close to a bunch of amenities, is on the same road as Walmart only 2 minutes away. We were able to bring our cat with us.
We stopped in Salmon Arm on our trip to Calgary in April 2022 and stayed in the „Deluxe Queen Room“. We were pleasantly surprised about the huge space we had. Very high ceilings and big windows for lots of light. Very clean all over.
Very friendly reception staff. Continental breakfast was in the hotel restaurant and was included in the room price. There were warm options as well (cubed potatoes, eggs, sausages).
The hotel staff were all amazing. Very tentative to your needs. With the shortage of staff everywhere these days we were wondering how clean the beds really were. Not sure the sheets were changed ? The bathroom was clean , the room was clean . The pool is great. Outdoor hot tub not great, very dirty and not very warm .
I would stay here again. The continental breakfast is very nice also.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The facilities were disgusting, bags of garbage lined the hallway at all hours, stains and smells throughout the second floor. The room was also disgusting. Stains on all surfaces, it appeared that someone had wiped snot into the walls in the bathroom. Absolutely nasty, this place should be condemned.
Very nice, lobby, breakfast area and our king suite room was very clean and spacious. very reasonably priced. Breakfast included was better than usual 👍🏻 It’s not right down in the heart of Salmon Arm but everything is within a short drive! Quick check in/out, very pleasant staff.
Location was perfect, I enjoyed the fact that there is a pub right behind the hotel that has really good drinks, and superb food. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were positively surprised by the size, comfort and cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. Also the breakfast was pretty good. Based on the photo's and price expecations were low, but we are very satisfied.
Absolutely beautiful location and lovely property, extremely clean and comfortable. Parking available. Breakfast lovely. Netflix and wifi available. A short drive into Salmon Arm which is a lovely town
The hotel is just off the #1 Highway as you enter Salmon Arm, so it's easy to find. The room was spotlessly clean, and the beds, pillows, and bed covers were all really comfortable.
The room is really nice, with kitchen and fridge. We love the pool and outdoor hot tub. Good location, have good restaurants at the hotel and walking distance to Salmon Arm Wharf.
Love the location and the offloading directly into the room convenience.
Their pet friendly rooms are very well maintained and I’m very happy they are a pet friendly motel.
