Hope is a great town to visit, I love everything about Rambo so that’s the best place for that! Exploring and chilling around the river is highly recommended.
I was so sad when we found out that Othello Tunnels is permanently close, it was one of the attractions we wanted to visit

We picked Hope as an overnight stop but the setting among the mountains was lovely. The trails within walking distance of our accommodation were beautiful. We walked the section of the trans Canada trial that goes to the Othello tunnels. Unfortunately due to weather damage they were closed for repairs but the walk on the trail itself was well worth it amongst the trees with the river below. Very much worth a couple of day’s walking in the area.

Have stayed in Hope previously for 10 days to work and didn't explore all it has to offer. However, it was a very friendly city and very clean. there are many cool spots to hang out and rivers to sit by.
Had a quick breakfast at Rolly's...great service and good food.

Hope is a nice town where the two highways heading East split. It's a good place to spend a night in transit. Lots of gas stations, fast food, supermarket, some interesting shops, nice art-cinema. Nice view down by the river. Be careful of what motel you choose. Some are good, some are awful.

I have been to and through Hope many times.
I have been to and through Hope many times. For such a lovely location, it is strange they have never tried to "gussy" the town up more. It is dirty, dining is difficult, not much choice and mostly greasy spoon places. The whole look of Hope screams hopeless. Stop for gas, a pee or ice then keep driving.

There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store.
There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store. There were a number of chainsaw wood carvings all around the town, in the park in the middle of town on street corners and various businesses. They were advertising the 40th anniversary of Rambo first blood movie and had plans to do a walkabout for it in October. The park motel was in the centre of town with all the shops in walking distance. The motel staff was friendly and gave excellent service.
We were greeted by the wonderful host, Pauline. She has such a beautiful home, and the cleanliness was a 10.
Lovely appointed bedroom, quiet and comfy bed.
Breakfast was excellent, great coffee, tea and just the right amount to get on the road again.
Thanks Pauline for the great music with breakfast, Ed Sheeran is my favorite ways to start the day!
Hope to stay with you again

The staff was quick to rectify any problem in the unit, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, they allow pets are extremely friendly. I would strongly recommend this place and it will be the place I stay for my little get aways. Hope is a very pretty place to stay.
Beautiful house on the hills of Hope, nice and clean room. Bed is comfort. Neighborhood is quiet and safe.
Host is friendly and breakfast is amazing good. Host personally cooking for you.
Price is good, compare the same price for motel in Hope, I rather choose this B&B.
Great location in Hope and the building is brand new!!! Modern and comfortable room with brand new floors, shower, fridge, furniture etc. Big flatscreen TV with YouTube & Netflix, best motel I stayed in. The front desk guy is super friendly. Highly recommended.
Bed was so cozy and clean, we both got the best sleep of our road trip here! The room was spacious. The location was great for walking to restaurants/coffee.
The hostess was also very nice and we both appreciated how seriously she took the covid measures!
The family room we had was spacious and the bathroom was quite large compared to most other hotels. The beds were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Bed linen and towels were good quality. Host on front desk friendly and helpful.
The suite is of a very generous size, very clean, and nicely organized. This is very good alternative to a hotel, especially if traveling with kids. The location is great, a very short walk to the lake with the park and playground.
The town of hope is beautiful, and the view around the motel is nice . The room was clean and spacious, they are a pet friendly place. Pretty easy access from hwy and downtown shopping . Close to the river .
It’s seriously old and out dated, but the charm! It was the cleanest bed, fresher than most hotels i’ve been in. It really felt like home, there’s something about this place. Staff was also very very kind
It had a coffee maker in the room !!!
I had a shower in my room !! After the last hotel in Revelstoke this was a treat !!
It had an excellent restaurant "Rolly's" next door.
