i am not please with the Booking.com i wanted to stay 2 night instead of one Booking .com say i could not get a 2nd night called the hotel directly and they said there was no problem and we had to pay booking.com one night and the hotel directly the 2nd night
Parking was a requirement yet they charge you above the cost the room cost for each day parking
The hotel is old and the cost is high for a hotel needing work
the one advantage is the down town location

Fredericton is a beautiful small City feeling in a great downtown location along the St. John River. It is filled with restaurants, artists shops and other shops. There are amazing walking/biking paths throughout Fredericton. There is a Farmers' Market every Saturday off Brunswick Street.

Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick and the home of the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University. There are ample and good local bars and restaurants that demonstrate typical down-home hospitality and friendliness. Good bars include The Snooty Fox, Dolan's Pub and Rustico King West Brewing. It's an easy city to drive in and the downtown can be walked end to end in less that 30 mins (unless you decide to stop in one of the many cafes, pubs or restaurants).

This hotel is very close to many restaurants, shops and different activities they have during the summer. I particularly love the Saturday market they have every weekend just 2 blocks from the hotel. I visited a few things and was able to leave my car parked at the hotel and walk everywhere.
This was a perfect place to stay for one night during our road trip to Nova Scotia. It was close to the highway, but there were no traffic noises in the evening. The staff were friendly, and helpful. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom was clean. It met all expectations of a chain hotel. You could drive up to your room, which made taking in luggage etc very easy. The breakfast was good - a buffet of the basic hot eggs, meat, toast etc. The (young) staff did their best to make your stay comfortable and easy.
We loved the downtown location of this historical Bed & Breakfast with true to 1800’s artifacts throughout! This home is exceptionally spacious! Angie was our host extraordinaire; checking our preferences for softer/firmer mattress before assigning our lovely room with ensuite bathroom. A made to order hot breakfast with coffee was a great start to our day! Angie is a fantastic ambassador to Fredericton! Be sure to dine at The Pallete on Queen Street!
Located downtown within a short walking distance to restaurants, bars, the market (on Saturdays) and all services. The Provincial Legislature and Playhouse are right across the street and the Art Gallery is right beside it. There's an excellent walking trail behind the hotel adjacent to the river that allows for a leisurely walk across the old train bridge to Fredericton's North side (and there's a pub (Picaroons) right at the end of the bridge).
This is a nice clean and comfortable place to stay. Nothing fancy, perfectly acceptable. It's on the other side of the river from downtown Fredericton, but it's an easy drive to get there. There wasn't much immediately around the motel, but there's a pub onsite - we got there late, didn't feel like going out, and had a nice meal and a drink at the pub. It seemed pretty quiet at the pub, and there was no problem with noise during the night.
The hotel is right on the highway, which was great because we didn't have to go out of our way. We didn't hear the highway in our room, though. The receptionist was friendly and upgraded the room for us from one person to three persons very easily. He also gave us a great restaurant recommendation close by. We only stayed one night, so we didn't use the pool/hot tube that the hotel seems to have, or anything else other than the room.
The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to help us when some of our plans went awry. I liked that there was a pool and hot tub. The bedding was comfortable. I liked that breakfast was included. I liked that our room had a kitchenette (microwave, small fridge, a counter space, some cupboard and dishes.) This was helpful for a longer stay. I liked how close we were to uptown Fredericton.
The host was down to earth and a delight. I really enjoyed my interactions with her. The breakfast (especially the blueberry banana pancakes!) was wonderful. It was within easy walking distance to Fredericton's adorable downtown in a very safe feeling neighbourhood (as a solo woman I walked around until 9:30 on my own and felt completely comfortable).
This hotel was a very positive experience. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the restaurant in the hotel, very good food. The only thing extra we paid for was the use of the washer and drier. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Fredericton!
Facility is clean and well-maintained. the hotel is reasonably close to a number of local attractions and is close to the TransCanada highway. The breakfast provided every morning was excellent, and staff went out of their way to accommodate guest requests.
The property was clean. Our room in particular was spotless. The staff was polite, courteous and professional. I had asked for an early check in and the staff was very accommodating to this request. Overall this was a very good hotel for the money.
The room is basic and small. AC a bit noisy. As it was a Saturday night, the hotel was full and doors slams were frequently heard. Beds were ok. Breakfast to go was correct. I guess carpets need to be changed as smoke odor was strong in the room.
Room are big , comfy big king size bed , love the walking shower and the pressure from shower is great! Walking distance to the farmer market and many restaurants. Walking trails along the river are right behind the hotel!
Good continental breakfast. Shower water was very soft. Near by food was the best at Irving's Big Stop. Easy access to the Trans Canada Highway.
Room was very clean.
Spacious room and beautiful. The water slide was a hit, lots of fun. Employe was very nice and polite. Good breakfast. The hotel was very nice and clean
