We were there for a medical procedure and there was a snowstorm so it was a good place to be safely. We utilized the restaurant because it was close and the staff was very friendly there. We travel to Cranbrook often from Creston , but don't often stay overnight

Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race.
Cranbrook hosted a wonderful Kootenay Gran Fondo bike race. It was excellently organized with lovely volunteers. The trail from Cranbrook to Kimberley was perfect as was the entire race. In general the people of Cranbrook were friendly and kind.

The room wasn’t bad but very basic.
The room wasn’t bad but very basic. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast option was a disaster. A muffin, a juice box and a piece of fruit in a bag is NOT breakfast. The listing needs to change showing No Breakfast.

No complaints expect maybe the wifi could be better, beds were comfortable, kitchenette was more than we needed but very well stocked. Despite not looking like much from the outside our room was nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
Also The Heid Out/Fisher Peak Brewing was family friendly and had the best food by a long shot! Was worth a really long wait too!

Amazing views and superb building.
Amazing views and superb building. However, there is room for improvement considering the hotel facilities. Comparatively very expensive and no value for the money as there are no meals included in the booking. It is a great location for a photo shoot. However, I do not recommend it for accommodation purposes.

We stayed in the downtown area were there is a very large park - I think it’s the Rotary Park. We were there on a Saturday and they have live music and serve beer and coolers in part of the park. There are a number of restaurants and shops in the downtown area we stayed at. We stayed at the Baker Hotel which is an old brick hotel that is renovated. We ate at the Heid Out & Fisher Peak Brewing Company for dinner twice. We saw deer just walking around neighborhoods, which was really fun for us.
It’s very clean and well managed. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked my name. I was prepaid so the front desk said here’s your key and I was on my way to my room. It took all of 3 minutes to do everything.
It’s a very quiet motel and had a very nice rest. There was restaurants and stores all around in walking distance. It was a awesome visit.
Thank you for making my stay so welcoming. I definitely will be back again.
I booked last minute as I was making my way down to the border from Jasper. This hotel was very reasonably priced (even last minute at full occupancy), and my room had been remodeled fairly recently, so it was perfect. Staff were very friendly, and the outdoor pool looked really nice, though I didn’t have time to use it. I’m not a biker, but it’s definitely a biker friendly place, and I’ve found those are often pretty safe bets.
- it is perfectly in downtown
- building has its charm
- restaurant and park in jump distance
- parking ( from 4pm - 9 am ) directly at the hotel for free or on designated parking lot 20 m away
- floor soundproofing was good, could not hear a word / sound from restaurant below
The room with 2 queen size beds was spacious and the beds were very comfortable! There was a mini fridge, TV, desk, and chair for relzaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel atmosphere was welcoming with live plants and art throughout.
We just like the hotel in general. We have stayed here while passing through Cranbrook for years now, have relied on the Heritage Inn for good service by pleasant staff at a reasonable price, and were not disappointed this last time.
The owner and front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I while we were stranded in Cranbrook. The breakfast was great, the pool was excellent and the entire hotel is exceptionally clean.
This hotel is right in the middle of town. It doesn't look showy from the outside, but inside it's spacious, clean and bright. The rooms are a good size and very clean. We will definitely stay here again.
The breakfast was very good. The hotel was very clean. The pool was nice. There were surprising little extras, such as a games room, business centre, and free tea/coffee/water in the lobby.
Room was great and staff was nice. weather was perfect for us to travel there to have a good family vacation. the Cranbrook mall is really close and most of the restaurant is near by.
I really liked fully equipped kitchenette. The best I've ever seen in the motels. Thank you for being so thoughtful. The room was very clean and comfortable.
