Only 2 hrs drive from Berlin this old City is worth the side trip. Flixbus offers several shuttle rides a day from Berlin so easy to get to or fly to Szczecin Goleniow airport. Very green, walkable city with nice historical sites, including Pomeranian Castle by the river. City Center radiates out over several directions each offering easy walks, coffee shops with yummy deserts along the way. Plenty of pubs and restaurants with creative and fresh tasting meals. Very safe to walk around, even for a single female in the evening. Great public transportation or easy to get affordable taxi, Bolt or Uber.

Beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay. There is a shuttle for airport called follow me which you book online which the host gave us the information and was exceptionally helpful about everything. If you end up getting a cab it should be around 200 pln. But the transfer is around 12 gbp for 2 and very efficient

I return to Szczecin time to time so I see how much the city develops. Besides the traditional restaurants and little craft shops ( there is even a hat maker!) I found many new hipster places. I was really glade to find a coffee place selling natural wine.
Nice town with everything you need for a cozy shorter holiday.

I had the privilege of visiting Szczecin, a city that left a profound mark on my travel experience. The city is an absolute gem, filled with a rich history, captivating museums, and unbelievable historical monuments that narrate stories of centuries gone by.
First and foremost, the Haken Terrasse is a sight to behold. The sprawling views of the river and city beyond are breathtaking, and you can easily lose yourself in the beauty of the surroundings. Strolling along this riverside promenade was an unforgettable experience.
The St. James Cathedral (Katedra św. Jakuba) is an architectural masterpiece, and I was awestruck by its grandeur. The interior is equally impressive, and I highly recommend taking some time to appreciate the artistry within.
As I explored the city, the Port and Royal Gates (Bramy Portowa i Królewska) fascinated me with their historical significance. These gates, which once protected the city, now stand as symbols of Szczecin's resilience and history.
The Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes (Zamek Książąt Pomorskich) is another must-visit. The legacy of the Gryfici dynasty is beautifully preserved here, and wandering through its halls, I felt like I had traveled back in time.
Szczecin truly is a city that immerses you in history and culture. The friendly locals add warmth to the city's charm, making it an inviting destination for travelers of all interests. I wholeheartedly recommend Szczecin to anyone seeking a unique and enriching travel experience.
Overall, my stay in Szczecin was unforgettable, and I can't wait to return to explore more of this amazing city.

A relatively flat city thus easy to walk around.
More to see there than you would think.
Possibly fewer tourists than most polish cities.
Plenty of Bars Restuarants in the centre.
Easy travel by train to other nearby towns including the coast.
Great location, spotless clean, finished in very high standard.
The host, Mr Dariusz was so nice and understanding as we arrived after 2am he waited for us to let us in, he also helped us with the parking and information about Szczecin.
In terms of the apartment
we particularly loved the external shutters that allowed us to sleep in the morning without a sign of sunlight going through them.
The apartment is in walking distance to many beautiful restaurants open till very late.
We will definitely be back .
The room was comfortable, spacious, clean. Breakfast was delicious. Parking space available for the car. The staff were very helpful and professional. This is my third time staying at the hotel. What I really like about it is that it is not large enough for coach groups, so is comfortable. Situated in a peaceful location yet within walking distance to many nice restaurants, parks. Will visit again!
The Grand Focus Hotel is exceptional. I stayed in a suite that looks like it should be in a modern home magazine. I could have moved in. The food is also top of the line and with helpful staff that took care of all my needs…I couldn’t ask for anything more. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.
It was a good value. Location of the apartment is walking distance to Stare miasto, The apartment is very new (July 2021) with complete facilities like washing machine, kitchen for cooking and utensils. Parking is free in the basement but a little complicated to park as it’s a bit narrow.
Nice, modern hotel in easy to get to location with good amount of free parking. I arrived very late and did not check whole facility (there is spa on site). But room was comfortable and clean. Lovely decorations for Valentine’s Day in restaurant. Whole place smelled amazing!
The apartment looks like new. Very clean. Strong wifi. Decent and quiet neighbourhood. Many parking spots. Local shop just around the corner. Shopping park Rondo Hakena is walking distance from the apartment. So is the bus stop to the city center of Szczecin.
Location, rooms, staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great underground parking and it's very close to the city center. The check-in was very easy, nothing to complain about.
We had a very large Family room with a balcony and two toilets and a bath. great room and comfortable beds.
great location and parking at the property. Easy to find the red route from the hotel.
Very clean beds, room and bathroom. Exceptionally good shower. Breafast like in the top price range hotels.Very nice and helpful staff. The car parked for free in a locked courtyard.
Great contact with the owner. We loved the private parking space. Kids enjoyed breakfast at the balcony. A lot of wardrobe space for longer visits. Cold beer in the fridge :)
Nice modern hotel in the heart of the city! Nice designed rooms, ac and was very quiet in the night time. Good bed and ok breakfast. Free parking in the hotel outside areas.
