Malbork is a clean and pleasant town, well maintained by a local government even offering free transport as an initiative to reduce the use of private cars.
The main attraction is the medieval castle which is a must to see. There are also a lot of places to shop and to eat, and many pastry and cake shops.
As transport is free, go for a ride around town to see more of it.

It’s is enough to see and enjoy for at least two days. Lots of tourists attractions. One day we were following the tourist route thru the City monuments and the other day we dated for the long Castle tour. There are also excellent bikes paths, water canoes trips etc..
The restaurants could improve quite a bit, but close buy this appartment where I was staying, on the opposite side of the Castle, I found a great eating place called “Cynamonowe Sklepy”, which serves old traditional Polish/Prussian food, which is excellent and in a very good price range. For the rest the city seems quiet and under major development! I enjoy a 2 good relaxing and interesting historical days!

Malbork is a great place to stay for a couple fo days.
Malbork is a great place to stay for a couple fo days. The castle itself requires minimum a day to enjoy it fully. The town itself is compact and easily covered on foot, with plenty of great walks. There are nice restaurants/cafes, and not far away there is a Dinopark - great place to spend day with kids with some simple rides, tree climbing trails and more.

Malbork Castle is huge! There is lots to see.
Malbork Castle is huge! There is lots to see. We went for the siege reenactment festival & it was busy, but great fun. Well worth the price of the tickets. The 'fire show' was spectacular, I would go again just for that alone, I've never seen anything like it. Well done Malbork.

There is absolutely nothing to do apart from the old castle. There's barely a decent restaurant. I regretted staying there. Should have stayed at Gdansk and made it a day's excursion to visit the Malbork castle.

The hotel itself is fine but if you are travelling on business they do not tell you that you need to tell them on check in that you want a receipt and if you ask for it on check out you can not have it - do not stay here
We had to book this hotel at the last minute as another, booked through Booking.com had double booked us. We were more than satisfied with our replacement. Hotel Centrum was closer to the station and happy to store our luggage until check-in. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Comfy beds, quiet room, excellent shower and good bathroom. Large room with sofa and fridge, and air conditioning. Only 10min walk to the castle.
Most of all - great, friendly and helpful staff at the reception. The room was very spacious, nice bathroom, very clean and fresh. The kitchen has a small but fantastic menu; meals are generous, delicious and great prices (I travel quite a bit and know the comparison). Amazing value for the $. The hotel has some exterior renovation going on, but it was not loud at all. If I am ever again in Malbork, I will stay there again.
The apartment is spacious, very well located, with breakfast at the next-door hotel for only PLN35 a great convenience. Malbork castle is only a few minutes' walk away. The local restaurants are close by, as are malls and shops. Definitely a good choice. Be aware that the apartment has STEEP stairs to navigate. I mean STEEP stairs.
The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the centre and historical sites. Everything is within walking distance. Parking available. Spacious toilet, clean everywhere. There is an electric kettle, good internet connection. Good breakfast.
I liked the large windows of the hotel, lots of light. Definitely worth to stay!
Amazing host and great apartment with fantastic location. Host is extremely helpful and goes all the way to make sure guest are content. Me and my son found it to be the best stay during our entire trip aroumd Poland (enjoyed it more than some 4 star hotels). Highly recommended and affordable!
Parking was not an issue. Checking in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, and cozy. We walked to the castle which was only 15 minutes away . I highly recommend this place and will stay again if we return to Malbork again.
Excellent breakfast and separate coffee lounge, Large windows in both rooms. Happy sounds from the lively and well stocked hotel's bar just below our windows ended promptly at 11. The hotel bar and cafe's cakes were good as was their pizza. Location was astonishing.
Nice accommodation with very nice and helpful owners. They let me park my motorcycle behind the gate, and let me leave stuff after checkout while I spent the day in Malbork. Location is great, with awesome views of the castle. Highly recommended.
Gościniec w Malborku is perfectly located stay. Very close to the castle and city center. There was a parking place and outside sitting areas with grill. The apartment was very well equiped with everything needed for any length of stay. Perfect !
Extremely close to the Zamek. The castle is literally around the corner. Clean apartment with everything you need and the apartment owner was delightful and gave good instructions on how to enter the property.
Really welcoming hotel, super friendly staff. Breakfast is great. The hotel itself is really old but well maintained and the bedroom was cute and comfortable. I would stay here again next visit yo Malbork.
We really liked the fact that it was really cheap and in centre of Malbork. So close to everything. It was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Definetly to recommend.
