Vic is a beautiful old town and well worth exploring.
Vic is a beautiful old town and well worth exploring. Make sure you explore the old town in particular. The Plaza Major is wonderful. The Cathedral and other churches are well worth visiting but shut for much of the afternoon, as do the shops, because of siesta. So time your visit carefully!

In our short stay we enjoyed popular central square surrounded with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops and a market on Saturday. We found the people very friendly and helpful. Food and drink was reasonably priced and excellent quality. We had a short stay, given more time there is a lot of history to discover and places to visit.

We came to Vic for nearby hiking in Manileu and Roda de Ter. Would have loved to've had more time to explore both more. It was easy to get from place to place. The Episcopal Museum was interesting, though overpriced.

What a surprisingly nice town.
What a surprisingly nice town. We wandered into the city center and through the tiny charming pedestrian streets. The old town is rich with history such as Roman ruins. A self-guiding walking tour is installed through placards along the streets.

Fantastic old town. The historical walking tour a must.
Fantastic old town. The historical walking tour a must. You can pick up info about that and maps from the tourist office. They are really helpful and arranged for us to visit town hall to see the amazing artwork there. Leather Museum housed in an impressive building and front staff very helpful. Locals eager to help and very friendly. Good shopping with some speciality shops selling truffle laced fuet and cheese. Free parking by station 5 minutes from main square. Compact so everything walking distance.
Insane hotel prices due to an international congress in Barcelona made an overnight stay in the city impossible so we had to begin our long train journey home to France from the airport ahead of schedule. The hotel at the Vic train station (R3 line) was a great find. The room was minimalist but modern, comfortable and clean. Despite being on a busy road and above the trains, we were not disturbed by noise or light. The man at reception was very friendly. Would definitely stay again if the need arose.
Very nice and clean apartment with nice furniture and decoration and kitchen; very friendly and helpful host; the host is easy to reach by WhatsApp; nice balcony overlooking the rooftops of Vic (ideal for breakfast, dessert, coffee etc.); great location just next to Placa Major; free coffee with excellent coffee maker. There was even a laundry and dryer machine in the apartment. This was our best place we stayed at during our trip!
The hotel is in a beautiful historical building, just 10min walk from the main city center. You enter from a huge car park (the hotel has a special discounted 24hrs ticket if needed). The rooms are modern, comfortable bed, great bathroom. And the cafeteria on the ground floor offers a la carte breakfast from early morning, which is perfect. Compared to all other hotels, it was also a much more affordable option.
The room was really big and spacious with an awesome view into the garden and city walls. It is the very center of the Vic, walking distance from every sightseeing place you would possibly like to see. The big parking is nearby also. The interiors are very atmospheric with nice old furniture. It was also surprisingly quiet and calm, perfect chance to relax.
Stayed here as a base to attend my son's wedding. Great Central Hotel. Clean, big rooms, good bathroom , big comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and great air-conditioning. Breakfast was good and plentiful with good choice. Would stay again.
The location, cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. Private parking. And exceptionally helpful and friendly host with very good communication. If I'll ever be in Vic again, I hope to book this place again
The apartment is top, a modern contemporary interior with all the trimmings.
In the middle of Vic, with underground parking near by.
We especially liked the warm and helpful welcome of Judith.
The hotel section was fully reformed. The rooms are small but comfy. The bed was nice and clean. The restaurante where we had breakfast was also nice.
Good people working there.
