FAQs about hotels in Seville

Hot by Day, Hotter by Night

Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.

People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.

The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.

But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.

Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

A magical city full of discoveries - at least one at every street corner in the old centre. And warm, wonderful people. If you're looking for a beautiful city brimming with life and history - whether just to get lost in or to enjoy spectacular sights - Seville is your place. Tips: instead of booking expensive flamenco theatre tickets ahead, try to catch some live on the street - in Plaza de Espana before sunset, for example. Casa Morales has some of the best tapas and Jerez wine in town at affordable prices, and is a cultural landmark in its own right. And the Giralda/Cathedral and Alcazar are the must-dos in terms of historical sights.

Seville is a wonderful and safe city with many places to visit. Architecture, palaces, cosy little streets. Plaza de España and the Real Alcázar are delightful. I think 2-3 days are enough to see the most popular tourist spots. Most beautiful places are within walking distance. Sometimes I used public buses - no problems at all.

Seville is a charming city with lots to see and do.

Seville is a charming city with lots to see and do. The main attractions are the cathedral and alcazar…and don’t forget to book the alcazar two weeks ahead. Since the alcazar was in some episodes of Game of Thrones, you can’t just walk to the alcazar and get a ticket anymore. There are lovely gardens to stroll through and the river is nice to walk along. Day trips to Cadiz and Cordoba by train are easy to do if you want to explore further. Don’t go in the height of summer as it gets really hot 40-45 degrees.

There was so much to see and do we couldn't fit it all in.

There was so much to see and do we couldn't fit it all in. We loved the old town and tapas bars there. Everything was kept clean. We arrived on the Friday before the Copa del Rey on the Saturday, the supporters in the main were very well behaved and although there was a lot of drink going down and we were expecting for there to be a bit of a mess the next morning, but the street cleaners must have been there early morning because the areas were spotless. There seemed to be something going on a lot of the time we were there. There was a parade near the Setas de Sevilla on one of the days we were there and there was a lot of people gathering on the Sunday and being seen in their outfits for the Feria de Abril. We missed the start of that (at Midnight) as we had to go to Malaga by train the next morning.

Seville is a beautiful, bustling city and we loved it.

Seville is a beautiful, bustling city and we loved it. There is a lot of walking but we enjoyed that aspect. Important to know that you really need to pre book tickets to the Cathedral and Real Alcazer as the queues are hundreds of people long and are only sold for that day (you cannot queue and book for the following day). Trying to book on line the tickets are only available for 3 or 4 days in advance which is no good when you are only there for a few days. Plaza Espana is free and magnificent. Food and drink is very reasonable and delicious. Triana is a 15 minute walk into Seville but a lovely location with lots of bars and restaurants. A must see is Flamenco

The location of hotel is perfect, within the old town, with walking distance to almost all the important sites of interests of the city, it is easy to find stores, restaurants and bars around. The hotel is in a well refurbished and maintained historical house, the facilities are very convenient and new, the decorations are beautiful with local style, the rooms are quite spacious. We had the best stay at Palacio Bucarelli, it might now be our favourite hotel in Spain! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. We loved our room, the rooftop pool was just perfect during the scorching Seville summer, and the room was very spacious and very well appointed. The kitchenette was very useful, and everything was clean. The communal courtyard and honesty bar is a lovely touch. The breakfast baskets are inspired too - making it even more of a private, special experience. We felt completely at home,

The hotel is located in a nice area with several cafes and restaurants a walk across the street or a short walk down the road. The old town of Seville with the major attractions are a 10 minute walk along picturesque alleys. The team working the front desk are awesome and helped us with taxis. The housekeeping is exceptional. We ate a good breakfast buffet one morning. Our room was very quiet. You weave around the halls to get to the main entrance, expected given the age of the surrounding area and buildings. Will stay again.

A beautiful building. The room was bright and large, and not overly decorated. It felt very clean. The bed was very comfortable with clean, soft sheets. The bathroom was clean, the shower was good. The coffee in the room was great, and the breakfast was a nice touch, especially the fresh orange juice. The reception staff was very personable. It was the perfect place for a family of 3 to stay. We traveled to 5 cities in southern Spain and this was the best hotel. It felt the closest to being at home.

The hotel is a very old palatial property turned into a hotel and it is both close to the best sites and places in Seville and a quiet retreat from what is one of Spain’s largest cities.
