We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright.
Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright. Lovely hot water, clean towels and toiletries provided. If doing the Camino walk id definitely recommend this place.
Great location and friendly staff.
Loved this place in Sarria. Two nice dorm rooms with bund beds separated by white curtains. Great outlets provided for each bed. Beautiful little garden with gorgeous flowers and outside sink and drying lines. Very well appointed full kitchen with all necessary plates and cooking utensils and refrigerator and cook top. Cozy main sitting area. Nicely situated in the heart of the main town.
Great stop in the Camino to divide the stage between Sarria and Portomarin. It was like staying in a family home. Marisa owns and runs the place like clockwork with many other women relatives, they are kind, friendly and their cooking is home-made yummy! They also serve breakfast staring at 7:30 am, which is a good start to arrive at Portomarin beating the Sarria rush!
The host was very friendly and welcoming - even arranging for an early check in due to our early arrival in Sarria and orienting us to the town. We appreciated being able to do our laundry in a machine and dry it in the courtyard. We loved the cozy room and common area. One of our best Camino hosts and lodging!
Very easy storage of the bikes. The hotel has nothing remarkable about it as we look out of the 5th floor over Sarria. A 10 minute walk to town takes us down to the river promenade and a few deserted cafés trying to make a living in hard times. It's a bit sad; Sarria is lacking that Spanish joie de vivre.
The La Cason de Sarria was our favorite accommodation on the Camino de Santiago. The refurbished old buildings were lovely. Wish we could have been there when the flowers arrived. Marcella, the owner, was very personable and helpful.
We were given a huge room, a bed a sofa area both with televisions. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern. The hotel is just across the road from the train station so convenient for us the following morning.
l the location is right at the trailhead of the Camino The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. The bar/restaurant attached is also very nice and the breakfast was good. Great value at this location.
Cuatros Caminos was a great place to stay in Sarria while walking The Camino. Laura was fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. Very good restaurant recommendation for dinner and we also enjoyed breakfast.
the apartment is very need to the Sarria station in a walking distance and it’s cozy with most of everything you need, eg small kitchen, washing machine and living room.
Nice modern hotel. We were having problems with luggage transport and the reception staff put in considerable time and effort to solve then. Good continental breakfast.
