It is a nice place to stay when visiting Barcelona since there is a train station serving the town. The are interesting buildings like the old monastery and the celler modernista. There are local markets, lots of restaurants, and shops. It is wonderful to walk around the town since most of the area is pedestrianized. One just needs to watch out for the cyclists and those on PMDs.

It is 34 km away from center.
It is 34 km away from center. There was no water in the room and the restaurant was closed at night. So they offered me sparkling water instead of water.. I had to take an uber to go the center for 50 euro to have the dinner. when I complained to the reception and explained that we went to the city and cost us a lot, she rudely answered it was your choice you could go to nearby village.
Finally their business might works for tours which comes by bus not individuals or families 😒 it doesn't worth.

Sant Cugat is 30 minutes on the S2 line from Plaça de Catalunya (centre of Barcelona) and is an ideal place to stay if you're on a flying visit to Barcelona. But bear in mind, from the Airport (BCN), it is quite far and will be an expensive taxi fare. But it is the best option since taking the train into town firstly is longer.
Sant Cugat is a small Catalan town and is authentic in its appearance. It's calm and very cosmopolitan and European. If you're looking for an escape with Barcelona within reach, this is a great place to stay and visit.
People are also very friendly and they run local businesses in the town centre. It's definitely worth staying in.

A high-end residential area connected to the city via an efficient metro which takes about 20 minutes to reach the city centre with very regular trains; a great place to stay for those who want to visit the city but prefer quieter surroundings. The town is full of quality shops and restaurants, with a beautiful monastery and surrounded by forests. There is plenty of parking near to the metro. We loved it.

I went there for Barcelona.
I went there for Barcelona. But Sant cugart seems like a very conservative place. If you don't speak Katalan, people Look at you. And I am a openly showing gay men who seems sometimes "feminine" in the eyes of some people And there, I felt many bad eyes around me. Like... jundgemental. But hey, I was there for Barcelona And Barcelona is sooooooo great. It is just wow And wondwrful.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area of town, 20 mn from Catalunya square in Barcelona by Metro. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and helpful with tips for travel to Barcelona. We spoke with her several times and were looking forward to checking out with her. She wasn't on duty at checkout and her co-worker was not welcoming.
Not our first stay at the El Sant Cugat. It's a very well located hotel if you wish to stay at the heart of Sant Cugat. It's decor tends towards the simple, but it is clean, comfortable and rooms quite spacious. It's not far from the station to Barcelona center and all in all its location is a winner
Stuff was kindness and helpful. The hotel is nice and comfortable and they provide us a baby bed for free. The room is clean and the balcony was big and comfortable to have a rest. You can make coffee or any hot drink anytime. Especially it was very comfortable for us that the hotel is open 24/7.
Hotel offers excellent price to quality ratio - very conveniently located near the highway with the free parking. Train station (with train that will take you to Barcelona city center in 30min) is 5 min away on foot. Hotel facilities are as advertised, as you would expect from Holiday Inn chain.
The hotel is near the highway which is extremely convenient when you are just spending one night during a trip, yet far enough to provide you with a calm environment. The apartment was really clean and comfortable.
This is an excellent hotel just near Barcelona. They have different apartments. Staff is great. You can feel fresh air here.
We are surely going to repeat when we need to breath some fresh air and privacy❤️
The big old house was very nicely renovated and turned into a hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful (but grumpy boss). Nice breakfast; garden & parking in the back with lots of shade.
