The cleanest, friendliest city in Spain.
The cleanest, friendliest city in Spain. I have never seen so many council workers sweeping a city before, incredibly clean. A must visit for everyone. The architecture is incredible, old & new together but not clashing. Museums, art, history and great cafe/bars etc all within walking distance, no taxis required.

This is quite a large city with wide boulevards and modern business and shopping areas with a beautiful old centre at its core.
Good road and rail links for arrival and onward travel.
Old town and Cathedral are lovely areas to explore on foot. Excellent choice of restaurants and bars- traditional Spanish but also Italian / mediterranean cusine and some catering for vegetarians/vegans. Plenty of historic buildings and gallery and museums to visit.
Best experience- seeing a wedding party arrive and enter the Cathedral on Saturday morning- with traditional dress and musicians playing pipes and drums.
Sitting in the sunshine at a cafe watching the spectacle unfold. Followed by a late lunch in a cobbled, inner courtyard restaurant ,nearby. Perfect!

Oviedo is a very clean compact city easy to get around...
Oviedo is a very clean compact city easy to get around walking. There are many many restaurants and Cider houses serving excellent Asturian or European food at very attractive prices. The Menu del Dia in the reataurants of Calle Gascona ranged from 15 euros per person upwards which included bread and oil, starter, Main meal ,and dessert, with 2 bottles of cider and water, the quality of the food was excellent. Particularly enjoyed The Cathedral, the markets, the food market with great choice of cheese ,meats and fish and bread. San Francisco Park is beautiful to walk around any time of day or night and very safe. The city has a lovely ambiance.

A lovely Spanish city great place to just walk around.
A lovely Spanish city great place to just walk around. A lovely old town area and plenty of fantastic places to eat and drink also loads of places to shop for everything and anything you could possibly want.
The property is great and amazingly located. Elvira at the front desk was very welcoming, professional and also left me convinced she’s the most beautiful girl in all of Spain. Also, I would recommend getting an upstairs room. Otherwise the downstairs unit’s bathroom is right in the middle of the lobby. Plus there’s a cool staircase going up. Spend the extra 2 bucks to get the upstairs room. Rock On.
The apartment was right in the centre of Oviedo and overlooked the cathedral. It was a very short walk to restaurants and the park as well as the old town. It was on a very pretty square. The apartment was really clean and well maintained. A lovely lady welcomed us and showed us the apartment. Parking was only 4 minutes walk away at the cost of 17 euros per day.
We arrived by car and the instruction the hotel sent us were perfect. We parked in a shopping center which was less than 50 m from the hotel. The receptionists were efficient and very helpful. The location is excellent. In 10 minutes you can be at the Cathedral, the main restaurant/cider street, the main park and many of the other sights in Oviedo.
Super location. Check in was good and taxi called in the morning in one minute. We loved the spaciousness and great room. Leaving before 7 a m there is a mini take away breakfast for travelers free. Nice option. Oviedos had lovely squares, the great museum and this hotel os within the circle of all thus including walkable coder restaurants.
While the room was small, it had everything I needed. Very clean and new bathroom. Very nice front desk staff who spoke slow and clear Spanish when they realized it was my second language. Excellent location from train station. I walked to the hotel at night with my luggage and felt safe.
Very nice room. The hotel was very clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. It was a 15 minute walk into the old town but there were plenty of bars and restaurants near the hotel. The local people in Oviedo were very nice as well.
Free parking next to the hotel was nice; staff were super helpful, gave me a map and explained how to walk to the center (25 minutes); room was tiny but adequate with a great view of the hills; breakfast was an amazing buffet.
The staff was beyond friendly, the room was big and with a lot of light and we were able to enjoy Oviedo because of the great location. Also perfect if you need to take a bus or a train because is next to it.
We came back to Oviedo after a day away and didnt want to change the hotel
Staff is very nice with good English
Great location
Twin room was better (more spacious) than double
The location of this hotel is amazing. Everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and right above a really cute restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly.
