I. didn't find the hotel very inviting to peregrinos. Neither an hotel or a hostel.

I had already made a comment about Casa Albores Priegue, but...
I had already made a comment about Casa Albores Priegue, but after reading Mr. John's comment, I felt the need to disprove everything he said about the house. His words are very bad taste, since this gentleman has only been there one night and what he says is false. He comments that the guests who were there seemed owners (it was us) who were there before him. We went precisely with the intention of cooking just like in our house, from there he saw the refrigerator with food and ours at ease in the room, was what we were looking for ... we invited them to join the table with us ... did not accept it, they were always in the room, we had a bathroom in our room, we did not even share theirs ... also reports the fact that we do not speak English, I ask: Mr. John because he does not speak Spanish or Portuguese ...? the duties are the same ... what I think in this whole conversation is that they were not sociable, the fact that they said we looked like "owners" maybe he meant that we were very comfortable, we really were, because WE LOVED the place, the amenities of the room and as I mentioned in my review I will go back there and Mr. Rodriguez does not deserve to read the Australian's comment, he is a "liar" in everything he said ... if he did not enjoy it most of the place was because it was " bush bug "... and more, my WELL-Haja to Mr. Rodriguez that is a good and quite available pssoa, contrary to what was said by the Australian ... FALSE!

We were surprised at what a great value this property offered. The hotel had wonderful old style classy character but with a modern, spacious room with a balcony overlooking the serene landscape. There is a restaurant onsite for breakfast and lunch (closed at 16:00) on the day we were there. It is a 5 minute walk to a few restaurants and grocery store and 10 minute walk from the Camino de Santiago trail. This was a convenient and comfortable stay prior to a long uphill hike into Vigo and we appreciated the comfort and value.
El Retiro is located right on the Camino passing through Nigrán. It has clean, comfortable rooms, an excellent restaurant and a nice garden for relaxing or eating Al fresco. We had dinner in the restaurant and my tortilla was one of the best I’ve had in Spain. The hotel is run by a family who all are so helpful and accommodating. There are several shops and restaurants a few blocks away. The beach is a longer walk, but worth it if it’s warm enough to swim. We had a wonderful stay during our Camino.
Nice couple of days, originally it was only going to be one but my partner woke feeling quite ill but the hotel worked around it so we could stay an extra day, for a little extra of course, but it was worth it, feeling very relaxed. The staff very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, huge bed and huge bath, just what we needed after a long day driving, and quite cheap really, £55 for the first night, Friday, and £60 for the extra night.
This beautiful beachfront property is a perfect place to stay whether you’re on Camino or holidaying in Nigran. The incredible Patos Beach is on your doorstep along with cafes, bars and restaurants. This is much more than a hostel - it is a private, very clean and contemporary small hotel. The staff are wonderful and we highly recommend a stay here. We wish we had stayed a few more nights!!
Absolutely beautiful Pazo, very well kept and clean. Nice gardens and a conservatory to sit in. Very comfortable bed and amazing wet room. Staff were very helpful and we could use the kitchen and fridge to store things and to make tea or coffee. Great location ten minutes outside of Nigrán and the amazing beach Panxón where there are lots of lively seafood restaurants.
-On arrival, everything was clean.
-The hotel and room were modern and new.
-Well located to walk down to Playa América -15-minute walk- and to drive around the area to visit Panxón, Montefurado, Bayona...
-Fresh towels were provided when we asked, as the room had not been cleaned.
Although a kilometre off the Camino, it was a lovely spot in the hills above Nigran. Comfortable, quiet and clean. The Hotel where we had our evening meal was excellent -not many alternative venues to chose from though.
Check-in done in 1 minute
I didn’t like anything in particular however I didn’t disliked anything as well. Good value for money considering the area… I would choose this hotel for a maximum stay of 2 nights.
Nice - more "hotel-ish". Very nice staff. Elevator very nice inclusion. Restaurant below was convenient and good.
Room clean, modern ... nothing lacking, nothing extra special.
