Nice beach but not an attractive view from it. A number of restaurants available, we ate in 2. The Mix had good service and a varied menu, we would recommend it. Can't remember the name of the other. The area has small shops with typical seaside resort items to buy. Taking a taxi is easy, we asked our hotel to call one for us & it arrived quickly both times. ideal for families for the closeness on visiting theme parks but the resort didn’t have a central town area with good shops. The shops are all selling tourist beach goods. However it has a good bus service to get you into nearby Salou or Tarragona. super nice place for families.. beach is very large and all needed groceries stores nearby... the beach has all needed amenities, volleyball, gymnastic bars and several kiosks , there is also a waterpark in the urban centre.. and bigger theme parks nearby. This is absolutely our favourite resort.
This is absolutely our favourite resort. It is spotlessly clean, the beach is fabulous - and cleaned every day. There are a number of bars and restaurants to choose from and best of all lots of lovely ice cream places. We ate at the Waterfront and Chez Mar. There is a market on a Friday morning with lots of different things to buy. There is also a fantastic fruit and veg place within this market. It is very flat and easy to get around. For those with walking difficulties there are mobility scooters to hire.

Quiet resort very clean and safe beautiful beach one end family oriented other end more peaceful plenty to do good choices for food n drinks reasonably priced . One gripe is smell of cigarettes everywhere especially when eating but then it’s the local pastime so hey ho , not for me 😎

There are regular buses to the nearby theme parks and the nearby town of Salou and port city of Taragona. Go to the bus office on the corner to the right of the hotel as you head towards the beach and buy a bus card. It will save you loads of money and the lady in there is really helpful. The rooms are large and relatively clean, although there was scant cleaning during our 9 night stay.

Check-in and out were flexible, which is very convenient. The studio's location is 10 out of 10: 2 minutes from the beach, and unlike Salou, La Pineda is not overcrowded. The studio has everything for a vacation stay, including a good air conditioner. I also liked the boiler as there was always enough hot water for the shower. My dogs were welcomed, so thanks a lot for that. I would love to stay here again!KenigNetherlands

Stayed for a short term, but i saw there are lots of activities in the complex: spa, pool, gym, padel court. Very cosy room with balcony, everything was clean, bed comfortable and spacy. Had a car, parking is in the street round a corner. If you want private parking, got to talk to the receptionist, i parked for free in the street.

Best time for the SPA was from 13:00 to 15:00 when most people left to have lunch.
