I love Huesca! This is a wonderful town. This is not a place to visit art museums or do lots of sightseeing, but it's sweet and charming. It is nice to walk around with lots of restaurants and small shops. The Pyranees are about 45-60 minutes away and there are a few other sites within driving distance.

It's a small town, which is nice. The restaurant selection is nothing to write home about though. It has a nice old town that is really walkable. I've not visited during a fiesta, but I hear it gets really crowded in those periods.

It is small enough to be able to walk everywhere and benefits from excellent walks in the country which are well signposted. My favourite bar/restaurant is HerVi's which has a friendly staff, good and plentiful food, excellent tapas and a waitress who speaks very good English

Don't get confused like we did.
Don't get confused like we did. Huesca is also the name of a province in Spain and so we thought we were going to be staying somewhere beautiful, when in fact we ended up in Huesca town!! Not quite what we had expected! Completely our fault, but be careful to check that the images you find on Google are actually of the place you want to go to and aren't just beautiful photos from a variety of places within the province of Huesca.
The host were beyond lovely people and so was the appartment. Minimalistic, warm and spaceous. Just enough room for 4 people. And the location is incredible, right in the city centre of Huesca...which is a really lovely spot, especially with all the hiking trails near it. The best thing was the parking, which is inside the parking garage so we didn't have to worry as the car was a rental. All the shops and local parties are basically nearby.
Would really recommend this place.
I booked this hotel as part of our trip to Spain (four days travel overland) and was not disappointed at all. The location was in the heart of the city, the staff were excellent, friendly and fun. Great facilities, although I didn’t care much for the breakfast, but maybe that’s me. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, on checkout I told the staff I would be putting in a review and it was well deserved, Alberto on reception was excellent and very good in his role.
Behind an assuming front in a rather faded little town we found an excellent modern hotel converted by the owner from her father's farmhouse. Cleverly and tastefully designed suites with their own terrace. A bar and restaurant below and though the restaurant was closed when we arrived the very welcoming host couple served up an excellent 3-course meal. Breakfast was equally good. English spoken. Our bicycles were safely locked
away .
Well worth a detour.
Beautiful hotel located right on the edge of the old town provides and excellent starting point for any tour of the city. Our suite was large and comfortable, with many of the details to attention that you would expect from a four-star hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way to check us in early and was helpful with any questions about the city. Parking is also conveniently available right next to the hotel.
Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Huesca. The hosts Maria Angel and Jesus were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful, allowing us to check in at a late time in the night, and often messaging us to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was very spacious, clean, and stylish, and had all the amenities you could ask for in a vacation stay.
It’s an beautiful restoration of a 170 year old family estate. The proprietors did an amazing job blending old and new touches. We loved the shower with the old stone walls exposed!
The hospitality of our hosts was wonderful.
The setting and views from our room and the terrace were breath-taking.
And it was one of the best breakfasts we had in Spain.
It is a very comfortable Hotel very well situated in the h u e s c a Centro, close to the cathedral and the two excellent museums. The breakfast was very good, as was the AC and the quiet room. And I liked that they had a mini bar in the room. The staff were very kind and helpful. I got a case of food poisoning, and they were sympathetic and helpful.
Great small hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast and very nice room with new bath. Elevator available. Great location. Excellent price for a comfortable stay. room is heated but no air conditioning. good wifi.
The hotel is well situated and has underground parking. The reception staff were very helpful. We ate twice in the restaurant and our waiter could not have been nicer and more attentive.
This was a great place to stay in the centre of Huesca. Although in an attic its very spacious and well appointed with 2 generously sized bedrooms and a good sized living kitchen room.
A good place to stay when visiting Huesca, the hotel staff are very profesional. We didn't use the hotels amenities as we spent our time visiting the city.
