Promenade is touristy, but a few streets back Fuengirola is a Spanish town with good facilities, excellent quality fruit and veg and fish at half the UK cost. Proper high street with clothes and shoe shops, even Botox clinics if this is your thing ! Huge Carrefour supermarket ( equivalent of Waitrows) and smaller Mercadona (equivalent of Tescos)
Every type of restaurants even Indians, Thai, English fish and chip shop.
Parking is difficult but area around mosque is free, don't try on a Friday or Sunday !

Great town.Has a commuter rails station for a 25 minute trip from Malaga airport (train will be busy). Has lots of amenities, a nice town centre, a great beach and a big indoor shopping centre. Not too touristy apart from the sea front towards the town centre, but not full of fish and chip shops and plenty of actual Spanish people living and working in town. Good for families looking for a nice place to relax.

Fuengirola is simply stunning.
Fuengirola is simply stunning. Not very busy to compare to Marbella which it makes great for family with kids. Definitely you need a car to get around the place as hills are very steep. There are plenty of nice restaurant with great food and decent prices. I would highly recommend La Costa.

Typical place at costa and you can easily just spend days at beach. However, with a little effort there is a lot to explore and many nature sites to visit! Safe and compact area with easy to walk around and good public transport.
Very close to everything €5.00 from the Train Station Fuengirola for 2 of us with case’s. Gastro Pub under the apartment/hotel is extremely popular lovely food too reasonably priced food and drinks. Sit and watch the world go by.
The Staff were extremely pleasant and greeted at every opportunity.
The beach you could trip and land on it. €12 for 2 beds and a parasol for the day.
Appears you could leave and go for something at lunch and your bits and bobs while you were gone would be safe.
A very comfortable and quiet apartment. Spacious kitchen and living room, a balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful, all our questions/requests were answered. Even is the hotel is 20 minutes walk from Fuengirola city center, we found it was a good location. 5 minutes walk from train station and not even 10 minutes from the beach. Reception opened 24h, easy to check-in and check-out. Parking available at ground level at reasonable price, or free of charge places just in front.
The hotel is located in central Fuengirola minutes from the train station and the promenade. Bus station is also very close. There are many restaurants, bakeries and shops around.
The room is very basic but is comfortable and large enough for a few night stays. There is a double bed, with a small table and bedside tables. Bathroom is very small, for an average built person the shower cabin is still comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Decent selection of hot and cold food.
The Staff were excellent and so friendly. Shout out to Giulia/Inma/Isabelle/Sylvia and the dining room team 👏👏 You guys are the best ❤️❤️
Patricia Lounge/cleaning who always spoke to me. 👏The Manager for the excellent training and for taking the time to talk to me 🙏 The property itself is lovely and deserves the 4 star rating. My room was wonderful and well cleaned every day. This is my favourite hotel in Fuengirola and I’ll be back !
I have been coming to fuengirola for years and never stayed here. I had low expectations when booking it as it looked odd as a location above a shopping centre. I was really surprised as it’s quite a beautiful old world Spanish hotel. The staff were excellent and the place is spotless. Serious cleaning staff.
The pool was a perfect size and never busy. The breakfast was decent and varied each day.
This hotel is right by the sea, our room had a side sea view balcony, which was very nice to sit and watch the sunset. The room is medium size, nice modern style decorated bathroom/shower, everything worked perfectly fine and convenient.
Location is fantastic - you can walk anywhere. Breakfast had sufficient variety and not too busy.
The reception staff were mostly pleasant and quick.
Stayed there previously so knew what to expect. The rooms (sea view) are very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. We had a double balcony facing the sea which was a view to admire first thing in the morning. Breakfast on the balcony. The beach opposite the hotel/apartments I consider to be the best in Fuengirola. (see the view from our room below)
Great family run hotel. In the old town in Fuengirola. Room was a great size with large windows and balconies. Bed was huge and comfy. Rituals shower gel in the bathroom. Whole place was spotlessly clean. We slept well. The breakfast was of good quality and we enjoyed sitting on the outside terrace. I especially loved the home made marmalade.
The property is located in the center of Fuengirola, less than 5 min to the beach, restaurants, and commercial center.
The place is new and very clean. Gaia and Mauro are superb staff, always responsive as needed.
I recommend this property to anyone. I definitely will book again if vacancy will allow. Thanks again.
The hotel was in a great location for restaurants and bars and the beach was straight across the road. The room was great and very clean! Beatriz at the pool bar made the best cocktails and was super friendly! We will definitely stay here again if we are in Fuengirola!
Lots of choice for breakfast and dinner, omlettes etc cooked to order. Perfect location for sunbeds by the sea, and 1/2 price if staying in hotel. Nice beach bar with lovely staff.
great location - right in the heart of Fuengirola. Not only an impressive looking hotel, the rooms are equally outstanding. We will be staying at this hotel again. Great value too!
Very good location in a center of Fuengirola. The hotel has an own parking hall which is included in a room price. The breakfast was very good for the price.
The location is great. It's close to trainstation, the beautiful small centre of Fuengirola and only 20 meters to the beach when you leave the building.
