I liked the view, the general structure of the property.

I liked the view, the general structure of the property. I didn't like how lazy some staff seemed, specifically the person to whom complaints are filed. Attitudes of some female staff needs work.

Check-in was horrendous, it took them 1-2 hours to get us to our room. Be prepared for a reception that is not ready for guests and were almost surprised we turned up despite paying for the entire stay in advance. Fortunately, I had printed a hard copy of the booking otherwise I'd be spending the night sleeping on the beach. Phone the hotel directly was futile as they never pick up the phone. Surprisingly this was the same from the actual room. Security is pretty hostile to paying guests and if you have a car prepare for no parking spaces if you even get let in. On Fridays there is a Sound System outside the hotel playing at 80-90 decibels and the hotel does nothing about it go luck trying to get some sleep. The hotel has an empty disco playing at around 70 decibels till 2am every night. By the way noise above 70 dB over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 dB can cause immediate harm to your ears. Be prepared to supply your own beach towels. Room towel and bed sheets are not changed daily. The was built in 1958 and the room safe is from the late 80s. Food is acceptable but they seldom have the national dish of Ackee and Salt Fish and the bar runs out of Wray and Nephew white rum by noon daily.

I just enjoy every thing about Runaway Bay.

I just enjoy every thing about Runaway Bay. The many spots where you can buy freshly cook food to eat and tropical fruits (East Indian mangoes,Guinepp,Star-Apples) been sold on a number of stalls by the highway.

Gardens were beautiful. So were the beaches. The staff really tried their best to keep a fun vibe going. Bartenders are phenomenal. Very nice people. Bars open till midnight. Very cozy rooms with your own mini balcony. We loved the fact that each room was a villa. It almost felt like a community. Didnt get that stuck in a resort feeling like when you go to other places. Security was serious about his job too. He is not letting anyone in that building unless he gets their name and license plate lol

I loved the free covid testing at the hotel and the process was very easy (the nurse taking our nasal swabs made me feel comfortable and relaxed. You'll get results same day). I also enjoyed the hotel being on the beach and the staff was professional/ friendly as well. I loved the interior design of the bathroom and the separate bath and shower area. The hotel had lovely gift shops where you could buy clothing, liquor, souvenirs etc. I must also admit their Wi-Fi was strong throughout the hotel.

We had an AMAZING stay at this villa! Our host Rohan was EXCEPTIONAL! He made sure everything was in order. We had a personal chef & he was the best. The food was well presented, even had to ask how he knew this was my favorite😅Mind you we only stayed here one night and we felt so welcomed! The price was too cheap comparing to the excellent service and quality stay we received. We will definitely be back. Thank you Rohan and our chef for making my birthday an amazing one!

The breakfast is amazing! It is so nice that Bailey caters to your taste and is considerate about allergies. Also the view from the roof terrace is lovely, especially during sunrise/set. We encourage all guests to eat up there at least once. We also enjoyed our morning jogs to Runaway Bay beach. The hosts were exceptional, apart from the amazing breakfast, the conversation and overall hospitality was spot on. We will definitely stay here again.

The staff were SO friendly and helped to make my stay amazing! The room I had was very comfortable and stayed cool, and I didn't hear others around me. The arranged transfers from the airport to the hotel were really nice, given the distance (1 hr). it was good to not have to worry about that. The size of the resort was nice for me and it was a great jumping off point for hiring a guide to take me to see local wildlife.

The staff were really friendly and always willing to help. The drinks were nice. We stayed in a hut the bed was a good size. Like the in room storage room so we had some where to put our cases. The room was clean and cleaned daily The location is good and is walking distance to a rooftop bar or sharkies who both have good night entertainment. The hotel does provide entertainment also.

I just love the atmosphere and the energy at this place. The Spiritual vibe was great! The Beautiful couple that own and runs this place, they were the best host, chef and they catered to all my needs. It seems more like I was at a friend’s home visiting. The place is modern, clean and just all around beautiful with every detail in place. Can’t wait to go back there.

The location was good for experiencing Jamaican life outside of the usual tourist trap areas like Ochio Rios and Montego Bay. The privacy and quietness of the resort. The small but more than adequate private beach with safe coral reef cove, take your snorkelling gear! Quiet and relaxing pool area with plenty of Sun lounges and other shaded seating choices.

Host Anne Marie was fantastic, attentive to needs and always tried to sort any issues. Unfortunately I was unwell during my stay and she was very helpful. Property was clean, all facilities you required for a B&B stay. Breakfasts were lovely and traditional.
