Parking was excellent with elevator to hotel lobby and rooms from garage. We stayed in a 2BR apartment which was across plaza (30m) from hotel lobby - they had a luggage cart available to assist. Apartment was very new, clean and well equipped. Nice comfy LR furniture and big TV. Well equiped kitchen with new pans. A short walk to center of old town (like 7-8 minutes but uphill). Very easy to get to hotel with car and easy to get back to main roads. Good communications through booking app.

It is a beautiful city with lots of historic places to visit. Amazing restaurants to try typical dishes and mainly the cheese! It seems difficult to access sometimes (mainly the old historic area), but taxis reach practically everywhere. Sadly, my trip was a business one and only for a weekend, but the city deserves more days to fully enjoy it!

Beautiful old city, lovely to just wander around.
Beautiful old city, lovely to just wander around. Slightly off the beaten track with not too many foreign tourists there, particularly in February. Speaking a little Spanish is useful. Would definitely recommend.

Carceres is a beautifully preserved old city.
Carceres is a beautifully preserved old city. The museum is very well set out starting with paleotonic times and there is no charge to go in.
I also loved the Arab museum - only a relatively small building but with some many distinct rooms and full of the everyday things that were used. A real house, not just a made to look like one.
Good ‘menu’ at the Colon Kiosk that’s around from the hotel.
Beautiful hotel. Beautifully clean, lovely helpful staff
Great food. Will be re booking to go back.
Room was excellent had plenty room for two small dogs, they left out dog beds and bowls
Comfy big bed, lovely shower room.

Caceres was a highlight of a monthlong trip through Portugal and Andalucia. I would like to have spent three or four days there. There's a wonderful modern art museum in the Old City area. Do not miss a romantic nighttime stroll.

Caceres is a must-visit jewel in Spain's repertoire of fabulous historic places to visit. So many places to see but all in walking distance of the parador - Plaza de la Concepcion, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Santa Maria and the cathedral, Torre do los Pozos, the water cisterns and the Torre de Bujaco. All are wonderful sights to visit. Very easy to walk around and the Plaza Mayor has many restaurants and bars from which to choose where to eat.
The apartment (really an entire 3-bedroom house) was situated right in the old part of Cáceres, and only a 5-10 minute walk to everything we needed (the Plaza Mayor, restaurants, shops, etc.). Paola and Guillermo had left us some delicious bread, local spreads, olive oil, butter, and coffee/milk, which were wonderful to have in place after our long drive from Lisbon. The space was very clean and comfortable and the owners were extremely responsive to our questions throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Casa Leyendas de Cáceres.
Great hotel in tricky location. Their recommendation to park outside the old town and get taxi to hotel is bang on. Huge car park and 5 euros taxi fare with taxi rank 2 minute walk from car park. Hotel is beautiful, staff super friendly and helpful. Dining area is lovely for both breakfast and dinner, we loved the music very atmospheric. Caceres is stunning, just walking around especially at night is a real joy.
The communication was excellent. The location of the apartment was fantastic - a minute walk to the plaza!
It was very clean. It was very comfortable. The air conditioning was superb( it was 40 degrees in the late afternoon!) The price was good. The fridge and microwave, coffee and water were an added bonus. We will definitely return as we really enjoyed Caceres.!
The location was great, in the historic district of Caceres. The exterior of the building is old and beautiful, with interesting cafes and churches nearby. Plenty of opportunities for people watching. It was a luxury-type hotel, with modern bells & whistles that people who stay in modern hotels expect. Maybe what it lacked was charm, and a personal touch.
Spacious room airy reception secure motorcycle parking spotless bathroom and shower and most of all a mini fridge.an excellent breakfast as much coffee cereal croissants scrambled egg etc as you wanted.hotel ideally located if your heading for the south of Spain and need a break for one night.did the job and would definitely stay again
The location is definitely one of its best features. Right in the heart of the old town, a stone's throw from Plaza Mayor. Breakfast was generous with lots of choices from the buffet - from fresh fruits to Spain's world famous Ibérico cured meat to artisanal cheeses. The hotel staff was very pleasant, courteous and helpful.
We stopped for 1 night enroute through Spain to Portugal. Was dog friendly. a great central location 3 mins from local quaint square with lovely restaurant options. If you simply want a very comfortable bed with shower and you are eating out this option is perfect. Loved the modern decor.
This was an excellent little hotel. It has a fantastic location close to the Plaza Mayor. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was small but comfortable, functional, and clean. This hotel was exactly what I needed during my short stay in Cáceres.
A fantastic place to relax and unwind after a long drive down through Spain . Yes it’s a little pricey but still good value for the standard of accommodation.
When you sit at the pool bar at sunset all the troubles of the day just evaporate.
Lots of great options for food nearby, we traveled in the off-season and somethings were not open when google said they were, but this has been a common issue everywhere we traveled in Spain.
Comfortable and pet-friendly hotel located at walking distance from the historical centre of Caceres, ample charging facilities in the parking garage for electrical vehicles
The whole experience was very good, staff, facilities, restaurant, breakfast - all were very good. Undoubtedly the best hotel we encountered on our trip to Spain & Portugal.
This is our second stay at a Hospes property and the facilities, amenities and staff were as expected.
Will be staying at more of their hotels, highly recommend!
