Hotel complex was huge but situated in calm and quiet area near Benalmadena. There was all you need for a nice vacation. If you pay just for breakfast and room, you will get what you payd for - nice clean room, wide selection food and one main pool outside. Other pools and water activities that are in the pictures are in beach club witch is for extra fee and you have to take local shuttle bus to go there. There is nice sea view but actually sea is not that near because there is a railway between. By foot its 20min walk. We took buffet dinner as well and the selection was ok. There was plenty of space for everyone but it was low season too. You have to pay extra for drinks besides water. Pool water was freezing cold outside end of april and if you want to use indoor pool, you have to buy pool hat to cover your hair. Did not see any beach towels available so you have to have your own. There was some enterntainment available at night. In one nightclub room there was really great band but the atmosfere was horrible. No stage or party lights. Only band on the floor and some chairs in the middle of room for people. There were different bars/lounges and games room where you could enjoy pool game, bowling and other games for small extra fee (1 pool game was 2€). Over all experience was ok but our ecpectations were a bit higher based on the pictures. Most of them just show the options you get for extra money and some are included to all inclusive pacage. There is no clear info about what you will get here or not and the stuff did not inform us as well when we arrived so it was a bit confusing.

We liked that we were at the quieter end of Benalmadena.
We liked that we were at the quieter end of Benalmadena. We walked the 5 or so miles to Fuengirola and got the train back to the nearest station which is Torremuelle. To get to Torremuelle station from our apartment you have to climb up a hill but coming back by train meant an easier walk downhill.
We enjoyed the Yucas cafe which wasn't too far away.
We found it easy to get around, especially after we found out about the 'tap in and tap out with a bank card' for train tickets. That was handy because the ticket machine at Torremuelle doesn't work.
Having previously spent time in rural Spain where we visited lots of pueblos blancos we wouldn't return to Benalmadena Pueblo or Mijas which are now a bit too touristy. Having said that - the whole of the Costa del Sol is extremely touristy. I think what I mean is that I'm glad we've seen the more unspoiled, authentic white villages than the Pueblo or Mijas.

For me and my wife and dogs, Benalmádena was not the right place. I stayed at the Flatotel which was too far from anything useful and we were overcharged. We personally didnt find anything we were looking for in Benalmádena. We stayed 2 nights and were ready to leave the first day.

Benalmadena has shops and restaurants but not too busy.
Benalmadena has shops and restaurants but not too busy. It's convenient for the train station and nearby resorts eg Torremolinos.
We like walking, so it's great for that, along the prom is great for wheelchairs etc, but some areas are up hill.
The apartment is modern, well equipped, beds are comfortable, the area is quite quiet. The balcony gives a beautiful view to the golf club. I have rented several apartments in Benalmádena and this is much-much above average!!
In our last evening there was some really loud party in the opposite building, someone had his 50th birthday with a live music, but when I contacted the owner what she knows about it, she was really helpful. She went there asked what it is, when they would finish, etc., so she tried to do everything to help us!
We had a great time at the hotel it is very clean
All the staff are very helpful and friendly especially the girls at the bar and the staff in the restaurant they all helped us try out our Spanish and with their friendly chat helped to make our holiday special.
The reception staff was very helpful too when my husband had he's wallet stolen on the train.
This was our 2nd year coming to this hotel as a party of 5 and will be looking forward to next year
The location is very good. You are in front of the sea and you have two beaches at walking distance to the right and left side of the Hotel. The neighborhood is calm and with like 5 minutes walk you are close to cafes and restaurants.
We were on the full board formula, The food was delicious, Fresh with a good variety.
Personnel is also professional and helpful.
Will come back in the coming years
Excellent location in Benalmadena, southern Malaga, very close to beach, restaurants, supermarkets ..., Able to get your kid ( 6 yrs old ) and after 3-4 minutes child walking , take a bath in the sea. Very careful host, ready to help any moment, thanks Paco! Clean apartment, secured parking spot. 15-20 minutes from the Malaga downtown, 30-35 minutes from Marbella.
Good location near marina, a lot of restaurants and shops around, long beach nearby with long promenade - good for morning jog or evening walk. Very good food for breakfast and dinner. We did not use hotel parking, parking on the street is possible, but sometimes we had to park in other street.
Wonderful hotel, perfect location, friendly, efficient staff & delicious breakfasts, lovely decor, and ambience.
Close to the marina with an abundance of good bars and restaurants.
Easy access from Malaga Airport - ticks all the boxes for a sunshine foodie break. Highly recommend.
Very cosily decorated (also with art made by the talented owner), great use of the space, sea views from the sunny balcony, comfortable and very well located to explore Benalmadena by foot. The hosts were communicative and speedy on response.
The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We loved the “boutique” hotel vibe of the accommodation. It was impeccably decorated with carefully curated furnishings. It felt high end / more 5 star than 4 star.
Good hotel bit dated but for the price was nice cheap getaway. Apartments nice and clean and loverly views of benalmadena from window. Loverly breakfast from cafe bar down stairs. And entertainment from the kareoke. Was good.
Great hotel, we did all inclusive which was great as we were travelling with children. We did not eat in the hotel every night but we always had breakfast there and were very happy with the selection
I loved everything about the hotel. Excellent friendly staff always so helpful. Food was great. We were half board. Excellent selection for breakfast and dinner. Will definitely go back.
About keys doesn't was any wrote in application Booking, about keys was written in multiple email messages from Alfresco
Hard was find info about Keys. But in hotel it was at door.
My go to hotel in Benalmadena for many years now. Can't fault them for anything really. Only issue being the buffet food that's so good, i always end up putting on a few pounds lol.
We've stayed at this hotel before and have always been happy with its position in Benalmadena, together with meals in the dining room and the friendly staff.
