Wonderful vibrant energy and everything we did was walkable.
Wonderful vibrant energy and everything we did was walkable. Never felt unsafe and getting lost in the gothic quarter was such a treat. Plenty of small bars and genuine tapas all very reasonably priced. We didn’t have any trouble with pickpockets but would still suggest being sensible with your belongings-it can get busy

The architecture (eg La Pedrera, Sagrada Famillia) is amazing and the parks (eg Ciutadella and Montjuic) and the waterfront are beautiful areas to walk. Food is good (Casa Delfin is well worth a visit).
HOWEVER be VERY AWARE of the numerous pick-pockets and other thieving gangs in Barcelona. Our friend had her necklace grabbed from around her neck resulting in her falling over and breaking her shoulder in three places. Although the medical service and local police very helpful, the holiday would have been better without this happening!

My visit was a family meeting as my son lives in Barcelona or Barna as they call it. So I definitely liked it. There was a family touch in it! We were in Barna in two stages during our trip. Both the times we were at a walking distance from La Sagrada, the world famous monument. There was a beautiful walking plaza (lane) nearby. I enjoyed sitting there sipping my Vermut quietly and enjoying Tapas. Spain is a historical country and they have retained it very nicely. People were joyous and ready to talk and help. We visited Madrid, dined at the world's oldest restaurant there and the southern towns of Cordoba, Seville and Granada. All over we traveled by super fast trains enjoying the countryside. Clean and tidy cities, Would like to visit longer than this 18 day trip.

Barcelona has so much to do, and is a beautiful city.
Barcelona has so much to do, and is a beautiful city. The biggest problem is over-tourism. We were there in March, which is not "high season" and you already had to buy all your tickets in advance and things were crowded. I would avoid Barcelona in the summer months if possible. Park Guell is a must, but the Casa Batilla was not only crowded but a bit underwhelming for the price. Eat at Ciutat Comtal

Overall had a wonderful trip, two tips:
1. You need reservations for any attractions. We showed up at Park Guell just before 1400 a despite the website showing “green” for tickets available they were done selling tickets for the entire day.
2. Uber ended up being a great way to get around the city for further distances, it is less expensive than taking the subway for a family.
Location is very good , 3 min. from La Rumbla, few minutes from Metro . pure center, rum is good , but not expect a 5 star hotel. Room has everything you need , and was clean, big enough, and I sleep like a baby. Street was noisy , but what can you expect in center of Barcelona :).I was suprised , but you get towels for showering , could change every day , and room is cleaned every day . sooo great.
Stuff are great. They help you with everything you need.
for the price you pay , I give 9/10.
Thanks again, I have a great time
Visited Barcelona, stay here for 4 night, it was a amazing experience for me and my bestie... Hotel location is near City Centre, very comfort. Receptionist at counter very friendly and always there for you.. We reach earlier before the check in time at 12nn, our room is ready and room was upgrade to suite. I request cake and flower before we reach Barcelona since my bestie birthday, the make it so special beyond my thought. Tq for the great experience, definitely we will come back again to this hotel, strongly recommended
Location - 8.5/10
It’s only 20 kilometers away from the airport, 3 mins walking distance away from the metro station, 10-15 mins away from city center and all the major tourist sights.
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Facilities in the room, washroom and overall hotel are amazing
The best point of the hotel is the rooftop bar and pool which gives you the view of entire city
Hotel has 2 pools and 1 gym.
They have free laundry service available

Hotel Turin is located right in the center of things to do in Barcelona. There is the La Rambla, Plaza Cataluna, Gran Via, etc. All within a few minutes walking distance. For those going to/from the airport, the Aerobus stop is about a 10 munite walk (6 euro one way). The Sagrada and Plaza Espana may be a little bit far to walk but the metro stop is about 5 minutes away.
the hotel has the basic things but for those who just want a place to sleep and have a good breakfast, Hotel Turin will not disappoint.
This hotel it's a gem right at the Center of the City. We walk all over the Gotic quarter from it. There's a Jazz cub in from of it "Milano" that is worth to try. Bracafé also in front of it have the best Cappucino ever. Turn left at the corner and you are in the middle of cute Bars and Cafes (La Rambla) Staff was amazing and made us feel in home. I am a clean freak and this was the cleanest I've been in Europa (but again, everything here is super clean) Barcelona it's worth to come!!!
I had a friend visiting Spain for the first time from the USA. The hotel is in the perfect location for us to explore all parts of Barcelona with a 30 minute walk. And, if shopping is what you are looking for, it is right in the heart of the upscale shopping district.
The staff was very attentive and took special care to alert us of the Barcelona marathon so we could adjust our arrival plans so we would not be affected by street closures.
We loved our stay and can't wait to return.
The room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Good bed and a very good working space. The space at the top floor to work and relax was also great as i could use it while waiting for my room te get ready. Breakfast is immense, very scrumptious! The hotel is opposite the congress center which is extremely convenient and 4 min. from the metro so well connected to Barcelona city centre. A really nice surprise was a bottle of cava with 2 glasses delivered on my birthday!
Everything!! It was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was clean, and I mean clean. I’m OCD so I look at things people don’t normally see and everything was spot less! my massage was soooo relaxing! the staff is absolutely AMAZING! very helpful and friendly! they made me feel so special for my birthday! and I really appreciate them for that! it was my first time in Spain and my first trip alone and I felt super super safe!
Nice staff, excellent location in the city center - quiet location but in the heart of Barcelona, the price was very affordable
The shower and toilet are very, very spacious, in general the room is large compared to other hotels we have stayed in Europe.
We came with a couple of friends, and they were very, very happy with the choice we made
Absolutely amazing place, driven mostly by the staff. They make dinners, they build a community and they will go out of their way to make sure you have the best time. Special shout-out to Caroline the manager who deserves a medal for her energy, attitude and commitment to making it the best hostel in Barcelona- and maybe even Spain?
Everything you would expect in a 4 star hotel and more in some instances. Room had a very nice view. Breakfast was nice. Ideally located near metro station- this was very convenient. City center is little over 10 minutes by metro, which sounds more than it is in actuality.
I travel a lot and in my opinion you cannot beat the location of hotel - plaza meyor - in the center of Barcelona with fabulous rooms, wonderful front desk staff, taxi ranks 1 minute walk, Las Ramblas around the corner, best place in town to stay.
Very satisfied with the hotel staffing - employees were really polite and helpful. The rooms have been cleaned very well too. Its location within Barcelona central city is also very reasonable - just 20min by bus to the city center.
Great location in the city center near with Gothiс Quarter. Easy check-in and check-out, friendly staff, good rood terrace with park view. It looks like 4-star hotel. So, it is definitely a nice hotel to stay in Barcelona!
The hotel is modern and clean, and in a perfect location within Barcelona city center. Room is sufficiently equipped and the staff were helpful and friendly for both check-in and check-out.
Would definitely recommend!
The location is a plus, and the food at the resto is delicious. I ordered arroz negro and so far it was one of the best I tried in Spain. FYI: You’ll get 10% discount from the resto if you have a booking in the hotel.
Clean rooms. A little too far out from Barcelona city center for the full weekend experience, the area itself does not have so much to offer. However easy to get into city center with the tram line close to the hotel.
I spent a very good time, in Barcelona, and in this hotel. Thank you very much to staff of the hotel, very kind. The location is perfect, in the city center.
