We were supposed to have a buffet breakfast but in the morning there was none. Coffee take it or leave it.

The house is perfect for a family holiday and the owner is very sweet and helpful. We enjoyed being there, and our children loved the pool. I highly recommed the property.

Everything was just perfect. The house is in the middle of the nature and very calm. Mark is very helpful and has a lot of useful local tips and Barney is such a cute dog. :) We really enjoyed the time there!
Apartamentos Casa Sardina are located next to the Mijas Mountains, in Alhaurín El Grande's old town. They are large, air-conditioned apartments with a TV and a washing machine.
Location was good for us. On arrival it was very windy and upon enquiring about wifi the receptionist said that wifi was poor on windy days! Never heard of wind blowing away WiFi signals. Anyhow, there was no wifi available in the room and don’t think the receptionist was being honest.

The town was good and the restaurant in the town was good thank goodness otherwise there was nothing to offer at all at the hotel. There should at least be a kettle to make to or coffee and breakfast as promised.

Having a disability one of the reason I go to this hotel is the swimming pool I checked in advance like normal that it would be open after checking in and changing to use the pool I was shocked how dirty and green it was. when I complained they informed me it was closed

Very nice city in the hills above Malaga.
Very nice city in the hills above Malaga. There are more restaurants per sq meter than the average village I have seen in Spain, and the majority of them provide fresh fish and excellent local specialties.
Places we went regularly: Casa Paco, La Alegria, Heladeria Solano

Outside pool and bar area great.
Outside pool and bar area great. Inside sofa not comfortable as pushes you forward. Bedding comes off every night. Not fit for purpose. Steep stairs to bedroom (toilet facilities downstairs). Very noisy neighbours (obviously not down to owners but did impact relaxation) involving dogs, arguments and mini motorbikes. Not much nearby - car needed.
Had a few lovely days out visiting other spectacular towns and beaches.

what an amazing experience. The location of this stunning property is breathtaking. The property is quirky with spectacular views, almost like a 360 view from the 3 windows in the bedroom. Immaculately clean and welcoming. Our hosts were wonderful and so helpful and friendly. The breakfast on the terrace was divine. We are looking forward to returning. Having had the privilege of staying in amazing hotels around the world I certainly rate this as one of my all time favourites.
located down a quiet street but close to local shops, bars and restaurants. Close enough to all tourist attractions but far enough away to experience Spanish life. Nick and Yasmin were perfect hosts, keeping themselves to themselves but always on hand to help or answer any questions. we stayed as a couple but could easily stay as a family with plenty of space available and a private garden.
We enjoyed our stay here and found Lisa & Simon very friendly and helpful.
Light & spacious room with very comfy beds - Good selection of food for breakfast and walking distance to some very tasty tapas restaurants which Lisa recommend to us.
We will definitely recommend to friends visiting the area and I’m sure we will be back soon.
Thanks again!
The grounds of the hotel are very picturesque. Lots of trees and plants. The hotel has a welcoming feel and the breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. It was nice to be able to sit indoors or out. The evening meal was simple but tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.
Of course the view is amazing. Every day, breakfast was served and was very filing. A way to get away from the crowds and into nature. Great location for travel to other nearby towns like Mijas, Marbella, Fuengerola, and Benalmadena. A car is a must have. Host was very nice.
Beautiful rural property with large garden surrounded by orange groves. Ideal for our family with everything we needed, very comfortable. Children enjoyed using the bikes and footballs, would love to return later in year when weather and pool warmer.
We chose to stay in this quiet area as friends live nearby and they have a car. Otherwise it's out of the way. Lovely big room in traditional style. Good selection at breakfast. Pool area looked nice. A couple of restaurants nearby on foot.
Pieter and Margot were the most attentive and lovely hosts, the accommodation itself was perfect - a stunning pool, spotless rooms and the homemade breakfast was to die for. Would come back in a heartbeat.
