This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.
This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer.
The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes.
We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.
This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax.
I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.
The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something)
However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel.
The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.

Koh Kut or Koh Kood is an amazing little gem in Thailand.
Koh Kut or Koh Kood is an amazing little gem in Thailand. To get to Koh Kood takes some traveling, especially if you come from Bangkok. Taking the bus from Mochit to Trat city and spending there one night is the best thing to do. The local hotels will help you go to the island.
The island is hilly with steep roads, so if you are an inexperienced scooter driver I don't recommend you traveling like that, but the best way to explore is to take the scooter and just go.
I would not recommend going to these islands during the Thai summer. I went during April and I can tell you that you can swim in your own sweat. The heat also affects the locals as well. Less friendly than usual.
The view from the spacious Bali room was incredible! Beautiful, calm surroundings to enjoy our morning breakfast and coffee served on our own balcony 😃. The breakfast is homemade and cooked fresh each day (Thai or Western). Jee and her staff are so accommodating and lovely. Jee even made a delicious soup for me for breakfast when I wasn’t feeling well. They helped us with transportation to Cambodia. There are paddle boards and kayaks for guests to use. The beach is a short scooter ride away. We highly recommend Jasmin Garden.
My stay was excellent. I will definitely come back as soon as I can. The family who run the hotel made me feel at home. The room was very comfortable and clean.
I also recommend the food. It is exquisite and at a good price.
You can also rent a motorbike and at the same price as the other rental places.
I recommend this accommodation without hesitation for people looking for a quiet place, at an excellent quality/price ratio.
Congratulations to all the staff of Baan Bua Cottage. You are awesome!
The location is very good, the beach is quite long and beautiful, and you can see a beautiful sunset every day! Every day has different meals all delicious!
The staff are very patient and responsible, always smiling, and are in a good mood every day here!
For me this is a full-score resort hotel, compared with this price, is really, very, very, very, very, very good!!!
It's very quiet and comfortable place . I'll go again!
We having been staying here since we 1st came to Koh Kood a long time ago. Siam beach resort never disappoints, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beach huts have recently had a make-over and are very nice inside. The restaurant is good along with the beach bar. Everybody needs a holiday where shoes are not needed and a beautiful beach is a stones throw from your door. We cannot wait for our next trip and stay here.
Mr. T was a wonderful host, he is a very kind and charming person!
The complex is very nice and quiet, the bungalows are very well equipped and super clean. It is quite close to a night market and several restaurants and beaches. It is a beautiful area, calm and very quiet, with a lot of green around.
We really enjoyed our stay, thank you very much Mr. T for being the best host on our long trip of almost three months!
OK, we all know at this price it's not a 5 star resort :-). However you get more than expected for the price you pay. Spacious, clean room, well away from the road and really close to the beach.
On top of that an excellent host - Chris will introduce you to everyone and give you all the tips and help you need.
The place has great food - I'm totally in love with the cucumber salad.
I strongly recommend Chor Chaba.
Best place in Thailand, with a MINUS!!
I score 10 the people working at Soneva. They are very professional, truly dedicated to you, with deep empathy.
I score 10 the food experience. The Chef Chris (French) is very versatile in cooking your very favorite dish.
I score 10 the location. Really private, exclusive, naturally fused in the nature. Facing the best beach in the island.
Shantaa is a really special place for a complete relax and unwind. There are multiple different spaces within the hotel, from the sandy beach on the northern side, which is great for snorkelling, to the swimming pool on the southern side. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurants are brilliant for all meals. Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Service and staff are very very very caring, attentive, supportive, kind and friendly. Peter Pan is a resort which really cares their guest. For example, we went to Khongchao waterfall one day during our stay, for the path is dangerous and we have 8 kids, they sent 3 staff as our safe guards, which is truly amazing. I love this hotel!!!
Rooms are beautiful, bathroom especially. Location is perfect, Staff are great. The included activities was convenient and increased the value and ease of our stay. Considering we visited in low season, we couldn’t be more impressed by what a great time we had; made possible due to the hotels comfortable amenities.
Beautiful facilities. The pools, the beach, the rooms and especially the bathroom were incredible. Watersport activities, though we didn't get to do them, were very cheap as well.
When I forgot my passport and other documents in the safe box, the resort posted them to me, for which I am very grateful. However...
Nook and the whole family are just amazing and accommodated our every need.
The location was perfect for us - places out on the lagoon, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but within a stones throw of the beach.
We are like a King and Queen during our stay and the food was wholesome and fulfilling.
Everything about this stay was wonderful. The restaurant at the resort had the best Thai food we've ever eaten. The service was excellent from everyone we encountered. The rooms and scenery were relaxing. One day we would love to return to this beautiful island and resort.
Large bungalow with big porch (veranda) completely in nature. King size bed. Kettle, coffee (Nescafe), small hotel room fridge. Helpfull proprietor in Thai language only. Every morning fresh banana's and Nescafe for self service.
Great location. They own beach is small, but 400 meters away is one of the best beaches on island - it is front of another low key resort, but access is public.
Great cocktails in bar.
Friendly, helpful staff.
We stay one month in Thailand and Suan Nai Kokut Resort was the best place where we stay! Beautiful atmosphere. Clean room. Healpfull and friendly staff. Simple and good breakfast. Highly recommend!
Everything. From the resort staff to accommodation to food and the superb location of the beach. Never get wrong on choosing this resort to cherish my last days after 4yrs here in Thailand.
