Very boring town but was great to attend the annual buffalo racing festival. Hardly any decent restaurants and along the sea all benches face the busy road rather than facing the sea. People come to sit by the sea to see the sea and not to see the road with cars. Whoever put up these benches are totally .. stupid! Really nothing to see and do in Chonburi.

The Overocean Bridge is simply wonderful!
The Overocean Bridge is simply wonderful! In the evening chill out with a beer watching the beautiful sunset on the bridge, or have a snack at the great “Cafe On สะพาน”! After sunset, maybe take a walk at the Bang Sai Public Park with its Elephant Monument and Dragon Bridge for great pictures. During the day, try some seafood in Ang Sila, take a look at the huge Chinese temple there, drive up Khao Sam Muk and finally take a walk under the beachfront palm trees of Bang Saen Beach.

Chonburi is so closed to bangkok with 1 hours driving from bangkok .You can easily come by public van at ekamai bus station located at ekkamai Skytran station. The city has many best cusines in thai and chinese . Moreover , the seafood restaurant along the coast road in ang sila looks manificent especially meow restaurant and piak. Bangsaen beach look fair with the benefit of sunlight taking .The aquarium in burapa university makes me look young again . The most interesting place in chonburi is khao keaw which is the biggest outdoor zoo in thailand the facility looks so good . I like driving the rental electrical car to enjoy this zoo.AAnonymousThailand
