Very nice little town, beautiful renovated.
Very nice little town, beautiful renovated. I was fascinated by the Old Souq, and the Jabal is worth the trip. Ibrahim Palace can not be vsited, which was a pity. A two - maximum three days trip. The locals are very friendly.

This was my first time visiting and I definitely could have stayed longer. It was a weekend trip so tried to cram in as many things as possible. Upon entering the city (Hofuf/Al Ahsa), I felt relaxed and it gave off a positive vibe. Driving is definitely different in comparison to Riyadh but it didn't really bother me too much as it was pretty easy to get around.
Al Hofuf had majority of the supermarkets as well as many restaurants and some nice parks. The place was much better than I thought it would be - I was pleasantly surprised.
Next time I visit, I will plan on spending at least 2 days more to properly experience what the place has to offer.

Places to visit: Walking around Souq al-Qaisariyyah and Souq al-Harfiyyin, visiting House of Allegiance and Khuzam Palace. Ibrahim Palace Mosque was unfortunately not open for visitors and Jawatha Mosque was also closed. The cave at al-Qarah Mountain and Land of Civilizations is a good destination for hot days. Mehaires Palace was closed but the area around it looks nice with a park as well as small cafes and restaurants. Overall, it's a nice city with a relaxed atmosphere, it's easy to get around on foot and there are interesting historic sites and buildings.
Driving to Asfar Lake was not easy on your own – I think you need a guide to show the way. It would also be nice if there were opportunities to visit the palm groves in al-Hofuf.
I would also recommend visiting Uqayr and the historic sites there. You can also go for a swim at Uqayr Beach.
Recommendations for food and coffee: Dar Basma, Old Boulevard, Goori Cafe and Alderwaza Cafe.
The hotel is clean, well mantained and the breakfast is good.
The staff challenges at times with English, therefore, you either should look for someone with good english, or ensure that what you are asking is understood correctly.
The rooms are like mini apartments includingin also washing machine, microwave, iron, etc.
The loby area is quite nice.
There are plenty of nice bars and restorants in the area, including several fastfood brands, however, quite distant from the center of the city or any big shopping center.
This was my first time staying in Hofuf and this hotel/apartment made the stay a joyful experience. It is situated at the top of a hill with lots of FREE parking. The staff at reception were great and the service provided was quick and efficient. Hotel lobby was excellent - spacious with ample seating and a mini bar. The room I stayed in was also brilliant. It was spacious, bright and very clean.
I would definitely go back and stay again if I am in the area.
Location is a heaven, I love to stay in between palms farms especially at night.
Very fair price to other alternatives, 3 bathrooms + 3 twin bedrooms + private swimming pool + shaded parking in front of your villa for 750 SR per night only while other claimed hotels in Al AHSA sells you one room “sometimes dirty” for +450 per night
Pleasant, like a home. Good New Furniture & all basic Electronics available ( Refrigerator, LED Smart TV, Microwave), Hotel Care Taker (Kamal U Din) is good man & Cooperative. Beautiful City & Good People. Property owner are good & Co-operative.
This quiet hotel is in a great location next to major roads and a shopping complex with food outlets. We had a two bedroom suite on the first floor, which was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning.
The location was great as it was almost in the center of the tourist areas, and most of the services such as cold store and restaurants are available at the hotel nearby area.
