The sea is the best along north coast however beaches and the provided service are not as good
If you care about the quality of stay you need to visit private beaches yet expect not to be satisfyingly served
Water facilities are not the best too
If you like local markets you will like the city if not i don't recommend as it's too crowded in high seasons

Marsa Matrouh city presents a compelling alternative to the North Coast due to its affordability and the abundance of beautiful, pristine beaches. In addition, there is a wide range of activities to enjoy and delectable cuisine to savor. I highly recommend considering Matrouh, particularly for families seeking an enjoyable vacation destination.

Avoid in summer.
Avoid in summer. Best beaches ever, but try in September end, as in summer it gets super crowded, annoying and not enjoyable at all. City needs lot of development and investors to build nice and affordable resorts.

Marsa Matruh itself which is 35km from the hotel we were staying at is a den for Islamic fundamentalists, salafis and moslem brotherhood. It is not a place to be visited. Jazz hotel is in Almaza Bay which is totally separate from Marsa Matruh.

THE CITY IT SELF WAS NOT THAT BAD, BUT THE PLACE WE STAYED IN"Chalets in Porto Matrouh Families Only" IS A SHIT HOLE, SEE ATTACHED PICTURES. ALL OF THE DRAINS IN THE ROOMS WERE CLOGGED UP AND WHEN WE ASKED, THEY TOLD US TO CLEAN IT OURSELVES, VERY DIRTY, FILTHY, FULL OF ROACHES AND ANTS, EVERYTHING IS SO CORRODED, CEILING IN BATHROOM HAD HOLES FROM REMOVED COVERS, EVERYTHING IS BAD IN THIS PLACE, IT'S REALLY A SHIT HOLE, GARBAGE, I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO CONVINCE YOU, BUT PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SICK FROM THEIR FILTH. MOHAMMED MOOSA WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL..ALSO THE LOCKS IN THE MAIN ENTRY IS VERY EASY TO BE PRIED OPEN AND THERE IS NO LOCKS ON THE PATIO DOORS. VERY VERY VERY BAD PLACE TO STAY IN.
THE BEACHES ARE SOOOOOO CROUDED. IF YOU'RE USED TO THE UNITED STATES BEACHES, YOU WILL HATE ALL THE PUBLIC BEACHES.
Alamaza bay is one of the best beaches on the North coast. Crystal clear, calm, and long stretch of white sand.
The hotel is big, and has some amazing views, and a lot to offer. Jazz almaza was the first to open in a complex of 5 hotels. You can always pick other ones and I honestly recommend either Tamerina or Oriental.
Food is ok.
Very friendly and hard working staff.
Overall I had a great stay
the room was huge !! it was one of the best beaches I've ever visited !! the Internet though was s struggle and they didn't fix it till the 3rd day of our stay in the hotel !! but overall it was an amazing experience. its not very close to other places in al sahel It a place you go and disconnect. also there are a nice mall walk in distance from the place and nice bars and restaurant.
I love the place, this is my second visit to the resort , it is very quit and beautiful, the sea was amazing and the beach was very clean, the weather was extremely beautiful although the weather was steaming all over Egypt, the resort has well kept fascinating gardens that added more depth to the natural palette of colors, definitely I will be back again god welling!
I liked the beach lifeguards and the overall beach atmosphere .
I had a great stay at this hotel! The overall experience was very nice, with a few minor issues that were quickly and professionally resolved by the management. Mr. Amir in particular went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay, and I would definitely repeat my visit again.
All thing was amazing. Food , restaurant, sea view, pool, reception was excellent . All the staff team was excellent . The room was clean & wide . Food was tasty & variety.
Cesar bay is an excellent hotel and the staff very kind especiall the restaurant staff and the reception staff.
We had a reservation online and when we arrived at the hotel after a long travel, they said they don’t have availability. Very poor facility and unprofessional customer service. While we were waiting at the front desk a lady came and was yelling at them for other problems she has
Spacious rooms, beautiful surroundings, calm, wonderful restaurants, excellent staff and cleanliness. Can access other Jazz hotels on the same beachfront, facilities are truly excellent, many things to do in the evening and lovely long walks on the main connecting beachfronts.
The view is incredible from the room. One of the best beaches in Egypt. Room itself is very spacious and has a very nice balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
Overall great stay and would go again soon.
One of the best beaches on the Mediterranean.
