Adriatica is a very good choice for an overnight stop in between Cairo and Siwa Oasis, especially if you have children. They have double rooms with communicating doors available. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was good although the only "coffee" is Nescafe. Staff is very helpful and friendly and even gave our girls some small presents on the way out. Has to be one of your best options in Mersa Matruh.

My wife and myself had a really wonderful exceptional experience by staying in this very unique property managed by a very efficient team. The roof is looking at a wide panoramic view … coupling the extend blue sky with the Turquoise color sea water and white sandy beaches of Matrouh ..from the history hidden in Rommel Island in front of you to the
main landmarks of the city. The management team was very efficient and welcoming. The big jacuzzi in the master bedroom and the tow nice fountains in the roof made a difference. We are now preparing for a longer stay in the same property.

The sea is the best along north coast however beaches and the provided service are not as good
If you care about the quality of stay you need to visit private beaches yet expect not to be satisfyingly served
Water facilities are not the best too
If you like local markets you will like the city if not i don't recommend as it's too crowded in high seasons

Marsa Matrouh city presents a compelling alternative to the North Coast due to its affordability and the abundance of beautiful, pristine beaches. In addition, there is a wide range of activities to enjoy and delectable cuisine to savor. I highly recommend considering Matrouh, particularly for families seeking an enjoyable vacation destination.

Avoid in summer.
Avoid in summer. Best beaches ever, but try in September end, as in summer it gets super crowded, annoying and not enjoyable at all. City needs lot of development and investors to build nice and affordable resorts.

Marsa Matruh itself which is 35km from the hotel we were staying at is a den for Islamic fundamentalists, salafis and moslem brotherhood. It is not a place to be visited. Jazz hotel is in Almaza Bay which is totally separate from Marsa Matruh.

THE CITY IT SELF WAS NOT THAT BAD, BUT THE PLACE WE STAYED IN"Chalets in Porto Matrouh Families Only" IS A SHIT HOLE, SEE ATTACHED PICTURES. ALL OF THE DRAINS IN THE ROOMS WERE CLOGGED UP AND WHEN WE ASKED, THEY TOLD US TO CLEAN IT OURSELVES, VERY DIRTY, FILTHY, FULL OF ROACHES AND ANTS, EVERYTHING IS SO CORRODED, CEILING IN BATHROOM HAD HOLES FROM REMOVED COVERS, EVERYTHING IS BAD IN THIS PLACE, IT'S REALLY A SHIT HOLE, GARBAGE, I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO CONVINCE YOU, BUT PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SICK FROM THEIR FILTH. MOHAMMED MOOSA WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL..ALSO THE LOCKS IN THE MAIN ENTRY IS VERY EASY TO BE PRIED OPEN AND THERE IS NO LOCKS ON THE PATIO DOORS. VERY VERY VERY BAD PLACE TO STAY IN.
THE BEACHES ARE SOOOOOO CROUDED. IF YOU'RE USED TO THE UNITED STATES BEACHES, YOU WILL HATE ALL THE PUBLIC BEACHES.
Good location in a nice neighbourhood. Shops and cafes.
Mârșa Matruh is dead in the winter months so there's not a great selection locally but in the town ...
Very comfortable and spacious apartment with good hot water and facilities.
Local bus to the town centre is just outside. Taxis everywhere.
Friendly staff( and children). Ahmed gave me a lift to the bus station. Twice. Because of a mix up( timings change on Friday and to be sure of a seat get to the minibus in good time).
Super value for money.
Shout out to the Hotel Receptionist or Owner (I guess). His name is Emat (I supposed), he helped us a lot on planning where to go around Matrouh, what to see, how to go, even to let us check out late due to delayed bus from Siwa to Marsa Matrouh. Everything was so nice and felt like home at the property, from the Guard's attitudes to Emat's friendliness in offering us souvenirs and free drinks.
Vietnam always welcome you, and hope you to have a memorable trip along Southeast Asia as your plan
I would like to Thank the Unit owner for the Great experience and the transparency... for the first time I had a great experience with chalet owner in Egypt out of hotels industry... highly recommended from my side to book this unit again ... and I will do many times ...worthy to mention Foka has an Amazing beach and Great facilities really it was amazing experience for me and my Family ...
Is the worst Jaz Hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The price is for sure not worthy, super price according to what the hotel offers. The hotel is super old, not clean at all!! Our shower was full of disgusting mold. On the other hand staff is very helpful and friendly and accepted to change our room. But I will definitely won’t stay there again.
Mister Antar in Food and beverage and his team did a great job servicing us and most of the food was great! Great hospitality and listened to our complaints, the Villa experience was different and great. Mister Anter went above and beyond to please us and did an exceptional job.one of the best beaches in north coast
Great location, good room, excellent hospitality.
I would have given this hotel 3 stars for sure.
Sea view, safe box in the room, gorgeous breakfast area.
And even bikes at your disposal!
Email at front desk is a great man and his advices were very helpful
Very good WiFi too!
First, I would like to thank Mohamed Samir from the reception team, he was super helpful, professional, cheerful, and supportive. The beach is one of the best in Egypt! it's simply Beautiful. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of varieties. I'll definitely be back.
this is the 5th summer I visit the hotel, this year was not a good experience as the sea
was not clean, the place became so noisy can not sleep well
the the food not bad but not like before
Whilst it is an excellent resort, the cost is excessive and increasingly prohibitive.~$400/night bed and breakfast only is excessive for a beachside hotel in Egypt.
