Adriatica is a very good choice for an overnight stop in between Cairo and Siwa Oasis, especially if you have children. They have double rooms with communicating doors available. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was good although the only "coffee" is Nescafe. Staff is very helpful and friendly and even gave our girls some small presents on the way out. Has to be one of your best options in Mersa Matruh.

The room, the hotel commn areas, and the beach were super clean and very well maintained. The staff were so friendly, cooperative, and active. The buffet was just amazing! The variety wasn't huge, but was just enough to spoil you for choice without being overwhelmed by too many items. More importantly, the quality of the food was excellent. The food was cooked with care. I also loved their attention to the small details. For example, the cakes were decorated in style. This might seem trivial, but it tells you that whoever is behind this are doing their work with love and with a sincere desire to please their coustmers. You can find those small nice details everywhere in the hotel, not just in the buffet.. A big applaud 👏 to the management. Given the chance, I'd certainly go back again.
I loved my stay. It's one of my best holidays. Thank you Jaz Almaza team..
P.S. Pkeaee put a clear sign on the highway to tell the drivers where they should leave it to the slower lane.

The sea is the best along north coast however beaches and the provided service are not as good
If you care about the quality of stay you need to visit private beaches yet expect not to be satisfyingly served
Water facilities are not the best too
If you like local markets you will like the city if not i don't recommend as it's too crowded in high seasons

Marsa Matrouh city presents a compelling alternative to the North Coast due to its affordability and the abundance of beautiful, pristine beaches. In addition, there is a wide range of activities to enjoy and delectable cuisine to savor. I highly recommend considering Matrouh, particularly for families seeking an enjoyable vacation destination.

Avoid in summer.
Avoid in summer. Best beaches ever, but try in September end, as in summer it gets super crowded, annoying and not enjoyable at all. City needs lot of development and investors to build nice and affordable resorts.

Marsa Matruh itself which is 35km from the hotel we were staying at is a den for Islamic fundamentalists, salafis and moslem brotherhood. It is not a place to be visited. Jazz hotel is in Almaza Bay which is totally separate from Marsa Matruh.

THE CITY IT SELF WAS NOT THAT BAD, BUT THE PLACE WE STAYED IN"Chalets in Porto Matrouh Families Only" IS A SHIT HOLE, SEE ATTACHED PICTURES. ALL OF THE DRAINS IN THE ROOMS WERE CLOGGED UP AND WHEN WE ASKED, THEY TOLD US TO CLEAN IT OURSELVES, VERY DIRTY, FILTHY, FULL OF ROACHES AND ANTS, EVERYTHING IS SO CORRODED, CEILING IN BATHROOM HAD HOLES FROM REMOVED COVERS, EVERYTHING IS BAD IN THIS PLACE, IT'S REALLY A SHIT HOLE, GARBAGE, I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE TO CONVINCE YOU, BUT PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SICK FROM THEIR FILTH. MOHAMMED MOOSA WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL..ALSO THE LOCKS IN THE MAIN ENTRY IS VERY EASY TO BE PRIED OPEN AND THERE IS NO LOCKS ON THE PATIO DOORS. VERY VERY VERY BAD PLACE TO STAY IN.
THE BEACHES ARE SOOOOOO CROUDED. IF YOU'RE USED TO THE UNITED STATES BEACHES, YOU WILL HATE ALL THE PUBLIC BEACHES.
I recently stayed at this hotel and was beyond impressed with the staff, rooms, beach, and food! Basically everything met my standards and exceeded. The rooms are clean, the beach is private and the food is good (make sure too book with breakfast). Also big shout out to the staff as everyone was super helpful and friendly. And special thank you to Mr. Ramy; the general manager who accommodated us the entire stay. I will definitely be staying here next summer.
The place is absolutely mint. The layout, view, and staff are not a bit short of perfect. It is very noticeable the very first night. I love jumping between resorts on Egypt's north coast. But for this instance, I changed my mind to stay two more nights here. I will add more to what I liked about this place in the next couple of days
You have access to all Jaz hotels in the area, you are allowed to use any swimming pool over there not only Tamerina’s swimming pool , the family room is quite big fits 2 adults and 2 kids , the beds are really comfy .. The open buffet has varieties and the taste of the food is really good .
Will definitely go there again next summer
the varieties, quality, service and hygiene were outstanding at the main restaurant. Ihab, the GM, is a remarkable management example. He had been around all time which is something not that much seen in Egypt's hotels/ resorts. The staff is so disciplined, cooperative and in strong adherence to hygiene.
Location was very good, everything was walking distance from the hotel. it was definitely value for the money paid, it was half price to the other 5 star option. Staff were very helpful, they really went out of their way to make the breakfast good even though the variety wasn’t best.
The room and the pool were beautifully designed. It felt like an isolated camp for chilling and relaxing with the comfort of a luxurious hotel. All the staff members were really friendly and welcoming. It was a new experience to try at el sahel and it was amazing.
we had a really lovely stay, a small hotel with a private beach. our stay was exceptional thanks to Mr. Mohamed Tohamy who tended to our every need and ensured that we enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing thanks to Chef Hisham who was super friendly.
The only good thing is the location, but even that when I reserved I wasn’t explicitly informed that there was several Jaz facilities/ hotels and that I am in Jaz Tamerina which doesn’t even overlook the beach
The hotel is brand new and very pretty. The facilities and view were excellent Team was friendly,
the place was calm and clean
Thanks for
MR: taha, MR Moahmed Restaurant
MR: Mohamed reception
Amazing service from all hotel crew, always everyone seems smiley, helpful and supportive
Clean and tidy rooms, sea view was amazing,
Swimming pool was very good for kids
This hotel doesn't exist at all. When we arrived at our destination, the landlord moved to another house. This landlord is not the boss at all, he is just an intermediary.
Whilst it is an excellent resort, the cost is excessive and increasingly prohibitive.~$400/night bed and breakfast only is excessive for a beachside hotel in Egypt.
Good 2 stars hotel. The main star of the hotel is owner. Very nice and friendly owner. who is sincerely glad to see you and wants to help and make your stay.
