Apartment very cosy and clean. Fully furnished.
Apartment very cosy and clean. Fully furnished. Equipped with detergents, set of plates, mugs, cutlery, iron and washing machine. It was everything you needed. The only downside was when the kettle got broken even though the owner said he would bring the new one next day in the morning he didn't and the kettle hasn't been replaced. Also we couldn't do check out when we wanted to leave.

In my opinion, my stay at the hotel was superb.
In my opinion, my stay at the hotel was superb. Overall, everything was excellent, with only a few minor issues. I highly recommend this hotel, despite considering the distance from the city center. If I were to return to Egypt, I would definitely book a room at this hotel again. I extend my gratitude to all the officials and staff members of this hotel for their outstanding service.

Novotel is a no-frills business-type hotel and the general approach is matter-of-fact without smothering the guests in over-attentiveness. Customer service, generally hits just the right note. The hotel was quiet and the facilities used were relaxing and not crowded. There were no noisy weddings like most of the other hotels in 6th Of October. Breakfast is of a good standard and the quality and selections of food are very good. The a-la-carte menu experience was excellent on the outdoor terrace. The room size is not expansive but more than adequate. The decor is good but tired in places showing obvious signs of wear with some ominous carpet stains. The lighting was not great with two main room/desk lamps not working at all. There were loose connections in the bedside light switch and it was hard to keep all the lights on. The hotel could also improve on the number and location of electrical sockets. The bathroom is compact and the shower really good. Had to remove the drain cover though to stop flooding the floor. Bed very comfortable and linen smelt fresh. Wi-Fi was the super highlight of the stay. It was superfast which is rare in Cairo Hotels. Bravo Novotel. A good experience overall. Will come again.

It was fine.
It was fine.
6th October is not as crowded as the rest of Cairo, so no traffic jams.
The proximity to the Pyramids is amazing. So you can take a day for the Pyramids and then another for the Sphinx and other sites there.
The malls are very nice for those who like shopping and their close proximity is a true plus.

The hotel contacted me to apologize and follow up with me after I shared some disappointing comments. They promise to make it up and that is satisfying that they care to improve and please their visitors. Good customer service.
The room was lovely and in a great location.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel buffet had good quality food and the prices were very reasonable.
Huge bed and two duvets - fantastic......no duvet stealing by my other half!
The hotel transfer service uses well maintained cars and sensible drivers - worth paying the extra for compared to cheaper options.
The pool was clean and a good size.
The view of the golf course was pleasant.
Options to pay in different currencies.
First of all the great value of this hotel is the team. Especially the one of the front desk. Rahma is the most professional and positive person, together with Aisha. People who helps with the room maintenance are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small and cute and you can use the facilities of the next door 5 starts hotel: Swiss inn Golf Resort . And if you want to make a shopping you can find Shopping Mall of Egypt. The hotel is good for coming for business and city trips.

Friendly and personal service
The staff were all very friendly and helpful specially Mr.Zeyad the receptionist.
The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.
The Hotel as all was pretty much as usual and exceeded my expectations of a quick quiet three day getaway with the wife in Cairo.
Staff and managers are friendly, polite, very very helpful.
Good hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Catering was good with a decent breakfast and good choice of evening meals. Free WiFi was adequate. Hotel taxi service good and reliable.
The hotel status is great including where it is located. It is a bit over priced considering it is in Egypt with the current economic situation in the country.
