A normal, chaotic big African city - more expensive than most. Relatively safe to walk around downtown during the day; take care at night. If you need to be there for business, it's better than many 3rd world cities. For tourism, not much to see/do in Luanda. Airports are normal: Completely chaotic

Luanda is growing fast transforming into attractive place for visitors and businessmen. Museums are good enough, but there are only a few of them. Unfortunately criminal activity is also growing so be careful avoiding be robbed.
