Really fun hotel. The rooms were perfectly appointed for a family. The kids had their own little space within the room.
It is also within walking distance to all the Lego attractions and the downtown area, which has a few stores and restaurants.

The location is good that only walking distance to Lego Land and Lalandia. At Lalandia there are food street, supermarket and also some children's play facilities.
Just a 12-minute walk from Legoland Billund and 200 yards from Lalandia Water Park, LEGOLAND Wilderness Barrels & Cabins features accommodations in Billund, with a garden and a shared lounge.

We liked the Barrel accommodations. We experienced much rain while visiting and found the tight quarters comfortable. The bathrooms were adequate, but we felt there could be more bathroom facilities for the number of barrels, cabins, RVs, tents, etc. The restaurant was what we expected, sub-par for adults, perfect for children.
Walking distance to Legoland. The bus shuttle between Legoland, the airport, and the town was good. It could run more frequently during the summer months. We would stay here again.

Randbol is scenic with friendly locals and provided a nice taste of local culture. The free shuttle bus to town and Vejle was fantastic but the times were not ideal. The first bus leaves after LegoLand and the Lego House open every day, so not ideal if you want to get there early. Great taxi service from town but can be expensive.
