It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. I stayed in Lyngby because I had to go every day to the University. The centre of Lyngby is nice for staying around, all necessary facilities are nearby, but there is really nothing special to see. On the other hand the train connection to Copenhagen is fine and restaurants and bars are probably cheaper then in the city.

KL has the lakes with water aspects and calming walks around. The town is more a dormitory for Copenhagen and quiet in day. We found a good restaurant aimed at locals and found it easy to navigate and park for train to Copenhagen ( one change)

Love the feeling of staying in a Scandinavian style home . The house is facing the lake and it’s perfect for slow morning breakfast. Such a treat . We absolutely had zero regrets staying at this place and the host was very helpful and friendly too .
