- Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly)
- Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service)
- Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours)
- The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

It is a relaxing place you can enjoy the rice terraces and crops around with this mystic that you can feel visiting the temples. Also, you can find many options to enjoy a relaxing bath in a waterfall.

Sacred Canyon Ubud Villa, in Melinggih Village, Payangan, Gianyar, Bali could be the right choice. It's the most suitable for couples. Enjoying honeymoon, relaxing, healing, trekking, yoga retreats, and as well as Balinese "melukat" (ritual for cleaning and purifying.our body, mind, and soul).
The weather is cool. Villa surrounded by trees, plants, and the natural gurgling of river. Many choices of food and drink. Very friendly and satisfying services.
this place is a piece of heaven hidden in the middle of the jungle. very comfortable bed, best sleep we had in days. the room is spacious and clean. the hotel have a good restaurant, good spa and such friendly staff that would go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful! you’ll escape the busy loud life in Bali by coming here. so serene. they have this cute cable car that can take you half the way to the pool or river and it’s worth getting on for the ride.
The villas are located in the middle of nowhere surrounded by the most beautiful nature (rain forest, fruit plantations, volcano). The view from the luxurious villas and the infinity pool is incredible. The offered spa treatments are also really great and most of all the staff is just wonderful. Koming is the most wonderful and helpful person we‘ve met during our Bali journey. She took such good care of us and made our stay in Awan Biru villas even more special.
The best of the best... Such a unique and pleasant stay it was no words to describe friendly staff, room amidst jungle, stream sound, property environment, pool with jungle view..... What more needed a hidden gem in ubud must stay here atleast a day when coming to ubud and thank God we stayed for 5 nights there which made our ubud trip a fantastic one they also have rental bikes so no worries about travelling too everything is perfect
Hotel is located in amazing place around the jungle and access from pretty village side. Nature is overwhelming, perfect place to relax and recharge in company of monkeys 🙉 stuff is so kind and trying their best to provide anything guests need . restaurant food is better than anywhere outside around Ubud. villas are very private and spotless clean.
Absolutely everything was top shelf. The room was large with brilliant views of the rain forest. The infinity pool is next level and with swim up pool bar ticked every box. The staff are fantastic and always very happy and eager to look after you. The food choices are excellent and well priced. A must stay if looking for elite accommodation in Ubud
Wayan (the host) was extremely helpful and making sure all the time you have everything you need. We could rent there a motorbike for fair price. On the other hand, Wayan helped us extremely in the last morning (6 am) to get to Ubud by waking up his brother (he's a taxi driver) so he could drive us there (Gojek couldn't find a driver)
Beautiful property amongst the rice fields. Pool is lovely, breakfast is very good especially the coffee! The staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy!
It is a bit of a drive to get anywhere, if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud then this is the place for you!
The bathroom is also amazing!!
Pro:
the owner of the stay are so so nice and helpful! The garden is the most amazing garden I have ever seen. You even have a famous Bali swing in there! It’s magical! The view is stunning from the bungalow!
The bungalow is new, big and clean. The bathroom is also very big and clean! :) we loved our stay here, a little paradise.
Amazing staff, amazing place, very well thought. We really sleep in the middle of the jungle ( and we felt safe).
Great job done by them, good restaurant.
Again, the staff is really friendly and they helped us with everything.
They even have a free shuttle to the center of Ubud, without this, it would not be possible.
The hotel was an absolute paradise being in nature and having the jungle surround us.
the employees were so sweet and helpful! we did two full days of adventures with Adi. he helped us plan our day trips and drove us around. he absolutely exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend you book a trip with him.
Breakfast was very good and satisfying, you can choose from the menu and they bring it in your room!! The stay let you remain in peace and relax, perfect for our arrival in Bali and after the flight! This property give you the chance to sleep far away the tourist area, completely into the nature.
Absolut amazing place in the middle of the jungle. You can watch the monkeys from your private pool – and they watch you… Wonderful breakfast with great variety and taste. And always as extremely friendly staff talking care of you! Great experience, great place in Bali!
Jungle location is very atmospheric, the hotel is beautiful snd well looked after, staff are very friendly and are always ready to help. The food at the hotel restaurant is superb. The hotel offers a verity of spa procedures and healing retreats
Everything in this villa was perfect, the house was clean, the views were amazing. Robi- the cook made us an amazing floating breakfast in the morning, Tari was superkind with us and the Balinesse massage in the evening was great.
Wayan was the best host I have ever met. His kindness and caring behavior was my best experience in Bali! I loved the evening meditations and the meaningful conversations after that. Thank you Wayan for everything :)
Amazing hotel with amazing amenities. Really enjoyed it. You can go to the hotel and spend 1 week without leaving a hotel at all. Room with a view of a jungle is worth it.
The place is lovely. It looks little different to the photos. I think a lot of places in Bali are taking some time to bounce back from CoVid. Was a nice place to chill.
