Clean, large room, comfy beds. Nice hot shower with good pressure. Nice heating also. Big windows to let you enjoy the aurora (if you’re lucky enough). Excellent location in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, some attractions are within walking distance and others are a short drive away.

Beautiful views of the sea, especially sunrise. Great mountain views. It was uncharacteristically cold and windy so no hiking but trails exist. Easy access to the national park with black beaches, lighthouses, lava tubes and volcano views. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, linen and towels as well as 2-in-1 body wash and shampoo provided. We took the breakfast option and the breakfast was awesome! It's also walking distance to the "hotel" in Hellnar, and they have a very good restaurant. Hellnar was a perfect base for us to do some day trips around the peninsula.
