I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum. Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Worcester is a lovely place to visit the Hotel is situated right in the middle of all amenities. You are also opposite the train station that literally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get in to Birmingham. Walks and eating establishments are the best choice lots to choose from .

A beautiful town set in scenic setting, the river severn flows in the middle and there are plenty of car parks, and places to have a nice cup of tea, sit down, relax, take photos and enjoy qulaity time. The centre offers a good range of shopping. Plenty of food choices, best part majority Halal

A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!

This is a beautiful historic city which is well worth a visit for non-history buffs too. It offers shopping, sightseeing, plentiful "hospitality" venues, and its setting astride the River Severn offers countryside and walking too. What more could you ask for in a city break ?

Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and good value for money. Beer garden was the best I have seen. There was plenty of tables outside and also a covered area that had heaters. There was a brilliant area for children to play in that is safe and secure. The level of cleanliness is exceptional. We had our dog and the location was perfect with great walks nearby. We are travelling from Scotland to Torquay and this was a fabulous hotel to break the journey. A great start to our holiday.

The hotel is really a pub with a few rooms (3 or 4). However it is very handy for the centre Worcester, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the room was very comfortable. The included breakfast was a small suitcase of food and utensils for two (full breakfast is available downstairs for extra, but we did not try it). The croissants were a bit limp - I'd have preferred a crisp roll, butter and jam. We also had dinner in the pub one evening - excellent beer, and a great pie and mash.

Hotel room was amazing. We arrived to have been told we had been upgraded to room 301 and got a free glass of prosecco. The room and bathroom are huge and the views of the river and cathedral are lovely. Parking in the 24hr car park is only a few yards away. The breakfast menu was great. A lot of choice and of very good standard. I would definitely come here again if stopping in Worcester which is a lovely place to visit for a weekend. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.

The whole experience was good, the welcome and then seeing the room which had a separate seating area. We had a evening meal which was excellent, served with a great house white wine. Breakfast could not be faulted and the Debbie the Receptionist offered very personal service, such as popping up to our room to check for us if we had left anything behind, I had, my mobile phone !!!

Beautifully renovated historic house. It is tucked away so there is a sense of privacy. The room was sympathetically designed, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was a short walk from the main centre of Worcester, cafes and restaurants, cathedral and about 12 minutes walk from the cricket ground. The hosts were very responsive when we got in contact before our stay.

Great hotel for our needs - we went to the races and the location was perfect - the price we paid reflected the hotel/pub and we had no complaints. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 3 which was a very large room, overlooking the river with 3 very large windows that gave us a 180 degree view.

The area that the hotel was in was a little run down, I'm sure there are nicer areas of Worcester. The room was nice, clean and good size, the bathroom was clean and also a good size. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.
