Didn't really see the place.
Didn't really see the place. We were there for an exhibition nearby. There are planty of good restuarants nearby. Just as well because the Regency Hotel restuarant was expensive and not very good.

Solihull is one of the better areas of the West Midlands and offers a pleasant stay and local amenities. Parking in central Birmingham is not easy but a local bus (Route 6) stops right outside the hotel and runs 8 times an hour weekdays, 6 on Saturday's and 4 on Sunday's. In the other direction this runs through to Solihull.
This city of Birmingham has lots to see and plenty of shops including the Bull Ring for those looking for a bit of retail therapy.

Charged more money than when we booked through booking.com paid for 3 rooms and all on different floors. Said we had to pay extra for breakfast and charged us £155 a family room which wasn’t a family room no child bed was made up. Room full of marks on walls and ceiling. Ask to speak to manager and no manager was working on Saturday ! Really disappointed with village hotels we expected it to be as good as the Elstree one couldn’t be so different.

Solihull is a nice place but I would advise anyone going with a party of 3, booking for 3 ADULTS and expecting 2 bedrooms should ring up and check to make sure it's for 3 adults and 2 bedrooms.
I have stayed the village hotel in Solihull on multiple occasions now for work purposes. I can therefore say with complete confidence that the staff and customer service throughout my multiple stays has been thoughtful, friendly and in general excellent.
I have always had a comfortable stay at the village and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area, on the strength of its customer service and the quality of the facilities. In summary, very, very happy with my stay(s) there!
The apartment was clean and modern. The entrances are clean, welcoming and secure. There is plenty of parking on site.
The apartment block is in a good location, within walking distance of Solihull town centre. Our host Charlie Grieves, sent us details of how to get into the apartment, the number of our parking space and how to operate the heating, the day before we arrived.
Staff were excellent and efficient, room was lovely and spacious with plenty of wardrobe space especially as we took our dog with us. We had room service and ate in the restaurant and both the food and service was excellent . The photos really do not do this hotel justice it’s really lovely and welcoming and would not hesitate recommending or staying here again if in the area.
no problem getting something to eat. a mini fridge in the room helped. The hosts even offered me dinner and were full of local info.
One note. If you are a VERY light sleeper bring ear plugs to drown out O'Neills across the road. if you like to party, bring your party dress. I wouldn't say luxury but very nice fits very well. I would stay there again
We stayed for one night so we were local to Birmingham airport as we were flying on holiday early the next morning. The hotel was within walking distance to the area we left our car. The staff were very friendly and very helpful on arrival, they even arranged a taxi for us for the next morning to take us to the airport. Our stay was very pleasant.
Can't believe the price for what you get. Would much prefer this property over the hotels. It was spacious, comfortable and had a lovely coffee station! I only spent a short time in the room as was using it as a base whilst attending a concert but wish I stayed longer! Will definitely be using this property again if I'm in the area.
Always good to find family rooms with separate beds for kids. Spacious room. All the facilities we needed. Good daily service. Booked for Commonwealth games when hotels in centre expensive. This was a fair price. Free parking on site. Area felt safe. Public transport good. Staff really friendly and helpful.
Lovely hotel , very convenient for Solihull, which is a short walk ..Birmingham is a short drive. Staff all very helpful.
Room was clean and good size. Breakfast was particularly good, plentiful choice, well presented.Excellent, efficent and friendly service from Majid.
Really lovely little flat, very clean and well presented with everything we would need (including washing machine and kitchen utensils) located near enough to walk into Solihull or drive to Birmingham International.
The staff was friendly and accommodating.. Also enjoyed the food on sight. All the family enjoyed the leisure activities. I would highly recommend the Village Hotel Solihul. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing.
Very modern clean hotel with a private car park. in excellent location as not too far from city or motorway. Solihull town centre is a few mins walk away. All the staff were brilliant and accommodating.
The quality of food and service were exceptional! The best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful.
