The room was very good value for money. The mattress was firm, in case folk have a preference, was fine for us. Staff very friendly and the food (dinner and breakfast) very nice indeed. Plenty of parking.
I should have checked the check-in time. Not the property's fault. Probably best to let them know expected arrival time.

Great roads, you can get most places quickly.
Great roads, you can get most places quickly. A very green town with lots of trees and grassed areas. Good shopping centre and a great central location for visiting other local places such as Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon for example.

The town offers most if not everything you would want on a trip away. It’s close to Stratford-upon-Avon birthplace of Shakespeare that comes alive at 10am. Easy to spend a couple of days there with activities. People present friendly and the town feels safe.

A good town with a lot of big stores. 2 Wetherpoons and a good kebab shop(Pepenos) opposite the royal enfield wetherspoons. If this is your thing, you can't go wrong. All of this just a couple of hundred yards from the holiday inn express

Redditch is a pleasent town.
Redditch is a pleasent town. The hotel is near the centre and importantly the station. The hotel could be cleaner with rubbish left in the corridor overnight. I had the feeling that the staff were not very enthusiastic about their employment and the guests they looked after. Upper management needed to spend some time to look how the hotel had degraded and make sure staff enjoyed the environment that they worked in and what it meant to work in the hotel trade. It is very important to keep tables and the buffet area clean, the foyers clear of cigarette buts and corridors clear of pizza boxes and Mc Donald bags. Just these small things would bring the hotel back to its previous excellent level..

I think the staff can be a bit more helpful and maybe the right attitude to work will go a long way in making visitors feel more welcome.
The hotel is a bit dated and facilities could be better. We used the Jacuzzi and noticed it hasn’t been properly cleaned. The facilities are basic and not much to todays standards.
You also have to request to have a fridge in you room which I find a bit surprising. Most hotels nowadays have small fridges in Rooms for guests to use.
The gardens are nice and well kept and the hotel has walks close by which was a big bonus. Very good location but sadly there wasn’t a swimming pool although there’s a jacuzzi to use if you book it in.
The hotel is set on a quiet site just off the Redditch Road junction with plenty of parking and a decent pub/restaurant selling real ale and decent bar meals plus a West facing sheltered beer garden. Staff were efficient and helpful. The upstairs double room was comfortable and peaceful. A ten minute walk to the Abbey Sports Centre, a Beefeater pub and 15 mins from a large Sainsbury's. A straight road into Birmingham centre past the QE hospital which is about a 20 minute drive.
This is a real find. It has all the feel of a proper, traditional hotel with excellent service but at very affordable prices. The staff were very friendly and attentive & helpful. I had dinner (but not breakfast) & the food was excellent and very well presented. The hotel main areas are perhaps a little dated but very well maintained and the room facilities and cleanliness were faultless. The terrace and garden feel like a 5* hotel. I'll definitely be staying here again.
Very comfortable long beds, good for a guest over 6ft like me!
Quiet despite being in the town centre.
Location is excellent for shopping, only a few steps from the Kingfisher shopping centre and food outlets, a huge Wetherspoons is just across the road.
Plentiful hot and cold buffet breakfast in nice contemporary surroundings.
Bar looked great.
Railway station is very close to the hotel for connecting into Birmingham.
The room too messy and no any toilet role in bathroom, carpet of room was awful 😢 I did check in 10 :30 pm and check out 7am my biggest mistake in my whole life to book cheap hotel Tnx only was one night .no air condition
This room never ever should booked for any one cause not hygiene
It’s in the middle of a really beautiful rural area, which looked especially wonderful this May. The hotel itself has a series of individual en suite motel rooms at the back of the main house. Breakfast and eating meals i the dining RHH
I like the staff , Ms Barbra (night staff ) was very friendly , helpful and feel she was working very hard and did everything what we requested .
I bel8ve she was the best employ you have at the hotel. thanks to her prompt action.
Really great little hotel. The room was brand new and very clean. We parked easy and it was only a short walk into Redditch Town centre. Really friendly staff, I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Redditch.
I and my girlfriend love the Flat 9 ,and when we want to stay in Redditch, we always check the available days for it.

spotlessly clean, lovely host, made to feel very welcome and the best sub £100 room your gonna find, far better than the local hotels ive stayed in.
Thanks Helen. 10/10
The hotel facade looked lovely and it was located in a quiet area. Large gardens out the back were nice to look out onto from the terrace and conservatory.
