Tre-Ysgawen Hall & Spa, hotel in Llanallgo

Tre-Ysgawen Hall & Spa has a swimming pool and award-winning restaurant and is a short drive inland from the east coast of the island.

The spa facilities were second to none, absolutely fantastic, beautiful pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, could not fault it. The breakfast was to die for, a great choice of cereals, fruit juices, pastries, cheese, and meat. All meals were freshly cooked, these also were amazing. Unfortunately, the evening meal was disappointing. We had the traditional fish and chips, not very nice at all. Our waitress for breakfast was an extremely nice person and was very efficient. Thank you 😊

Every thing about the venue was perfect. The room was first-class (and had amazing views), and the hospitality shown by Gerrie and Annie was exceptional. Not only did they provide us with a great breakfast, but Annie provided us with freshly-baked treats during our stay.

The environment was nice, the accommodation too, but it had a lot of faults, the sofa we slept on was dirty, there was a hole in the middle that made it impossible to sleep, the cutlery and glasses were broken, the owner was great, available non-stop

Wonderfully accommodation with nice location in the middle of the nature. Very quite area . Lots of places around to visit as Snowdonia Mountain, Mawr Waterfall, Bechan and Red Warf Beach. Red Warf beach a perfect beach where can be spotted the incomming tide. Next time will plan to come with kids. A very nice area to spend with kids as well, especially Snowdonia Mountain.

It was lovely and quite, the views were amazing, the only thing that wasn't to great was, we couldn't find a local restaurant or shops to grab take away from and had to drive out a little from our hotel. We were doing the Mount Snowden walk for my sister's 40th Birthday and also raising for MacMillan Charity, it was a 35 minute drive to the mountain and during our journey, we witnessed some beautiful breath taking views....I didn't want to leave but will definitely return soon and will definitely recommend highly to my family and friends.

The stay was at Bynteg and not Llanalgo (which is a few miles away) unless it was just the postcode. Nice location the only draw back was the hotel was on a main road and quite a lot of early and V. late traffic was quite noticeable. Apart from that nice area and would probably stay there again at some point.
