The cottage was lovely and once you are there is in a fabulous location. The tight lanes to get to the property can be tricky to navigate especially at night and in the rain. Oncoming traffic can be an issue if there is not a lay-by or pull-in area nearby. It can of course be done with caution and the locals do thank you for reversing to the most appropriate passing place.

We’ve always loved the millbrook inn, so we were very excited to see the cottages become available. The owners have made them stunning and I highly recommend for a relaxing break away from it. So quiet, pretty and comfortable.

Kingsbridge is such a pretty area of Devon and the local people are really lovely. Bentham beach is the most beautiful beach with views that will leave you awestruck. The mountains are really nice to go for an adventurous walk

Pretty little town with good facilities.
Pretty little town with good facilities. Excellent walks, pubs, restaurants. Lots to do and see around the area.
We dined at Twenty Seven which, although on the expensive side, was excellent. Great way to celebrate a birthday.

Kingsbridge is small but with lots of one-off and quirky shops. Its choice of restaurants is ok, but many have limited opening hours. The town itself is pretty, and relatively quiet compared to more popular Devon destinations.

A lovely town, with something for everyone. would liked to have stayed longer. Accessible to centre of town by small boats........but check tide times as you could become stranded until next high tide!
Lovely surrounding scenic views and ideal for walks and exploring.
Very nice, clean kitchen/diner/lounge and very comfortable bed. Owner was very helpful with providing washing powder as we had been traveling for some time and needed to wash some clothes. Tea and coffee and fresh milk were provided, along with chocolate biscuits. The location is a little bit out of Kingsbridge and up some steep hills so we could take an evening stroll into town, but on the other hand the house backed onto fields and the area was nice and quiet. It was just right for us for two nights.
Absolutely lovely host, a real "bed and breakfast" atmosphere. An easy 15 minute walk from the bus stop in Kingsbridge, or a quick 2 minute taxi ride. The farm and grounds are beautiful and the room itself is massive like a suite. Heated floors in bathroom with a sizeable tub and separate shower. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Kingsbridge.
The host even gave me a ride into town this morning so I didn't have to walk in the rain!
Fabulous location at the top of the Kingsbridge Estuary. We were able to park the car on the road right outside (a bonus as we had friends staying in other locations in the town and they had to use public parking). Able to walk to all the shops and restaurants nearby.
The Pod is quite compact, but had everything we needed and perfect for 2 adults. It was clean and all the facilities were in good working order with a really comfy bed.
A gorgeous little barn perfect for a getaway. Location was great away from the hustle and bustle but perfect to explore the sorroundings, which really appreciated when returning after a busy day and Chris and Rachel made us feel really welcomed.
Beds were really comfortable, power shower and my husband really liked the sofa, again perfect for sinking into after a long day exploring south Devon.
A wonderful home from home. So comfortable in every respect. The roads leading to the house were typically Devonian, which at first was rather alarming, but the journey was definitely worth the effort. The area is beautiful and so peaceful. A delightful garden for private use was a bonus. We appreciated the eggs and the freshly baked bread. The owners were easy to communicate with, too.
Comfortable & modern furnishings. The property was very clean. Location is excellent as it's central to all of the shops, cafes & restaurants in Kingsbridge & other areas in South Devon. WiFi was good & handy to have Netflix. Although there's no parking, we were able to park with ease in the carpark next to Tesco. You can top up parking easily by using the app.
Great location for exploring and walking in South Devon and Dartmoor. Our host, Bryony, was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with fruit and croissants alongside cereals, toast, yogurt, great coffee. A cooked breakfast was offered at the weekend.
Wonderful views from the breakfast room to Hope Cove.
A lovely thatched cottage in small hamlet. All amenities ,other than bathroom,in one room but well designed and thought out.For our particular purpose in visiting Devon the location was ideal and our host Shane was well able to provide valuable information to us.We would certainly recommend this property to others.
The surrounding area is very pretty but Kingston looks near to Kingsbridge/Salcombe it is actually much more remote than it looks on the map. Some roads out of village are really narrow and it took a lot longer to travel around area than we expected. Breakfast good. Pub and rooms very quaint and picturesque
Great location, couldn't get enough photos
of the sunsets. The lodge was lovely with large comfy bed and a massive decking area, Tim and Helen were very nice hosts. Very handy for Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth and Plymouth. Would definitely go back.
We liked the quietness in the hotel. That gave us a luxuxy feeling. We were not able to have breakfast in the morning because we had to leave early. The lady owner made a packet for us to take with us with bread drinks and fruits.
the room & particularly the bathroom were lovely. The breakfast was awesome. Host let us come & go and allowed us to use her conservatory which had an amazing view of the estuary. Joan was a really lovely host, truly devonian.
The most beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We were so well looked after by wonderful hosts Chris and Katy. Loved everything about this place- the breakfast, grounds, decor, our room….. all perfect. Will definitely return.
Lovely cosy family home. We were a family group of 9 and we had a really enjoyable stay. Great location, easy to walk into Kingsbridge. Communication with the host was fab and they gave us loads of great recommendations.
The Globe is a lovely hotel. Comfy bed. Very good breakfast. Really nice staff.
This is a lovely, old, traditional english inn, with a pub and restaurant. There's also a really nice outside seating area with a bar!
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Good pubs for evening meals nearby. Quiet location in beautifully maintained house. Spacious bathroom with constant hot water.
Breakfast was lovely, delicious, good selection of food, would suit every taste.
Location of hotel was ideal as it allowed us to see a large portion of South Devon easily.
