Hatfield house and grounds well worth a visit. We walked there though and the subways were full of litter, worst I've seen. Weatherspoon pub not dog friendly, couldn't even take them into the garden!!!

We were there to work for a few days in the university; so we did not visit Hatfield as tourists. There are plenty of places to eat, and it is easy enough to get around Hatfield on foot. We did pass the house where Elizabeth 1 grew up. That's worth a visit.

This really was one of the worst places our road crew have ever stayed in, and trust me, that’s saying something. The sheets were stained and both guests were bitten in the night by fleas or bedbugs. The parking was totally inadequate, especially if you have a larger vehicle, and the whole “ bring your own toilet paper and towels because of COVID ” thing is frankly ludicrous. There’s no facility to even make a cup of tea, and I’m sorry, but telling your guests all of this ahead of their arrival still doesn’t make it acceptable. Even budget hotels normally run to a kettle and a few teabags. The key-code system worked ok, which is good for us as we work late and often find receptions closed, but apart from that It’s only advantage was that it was cheap….but then so is sleeping in the van, which both of my guys who stayed there said would have been preferable. In fact they nearly had to as there was nowhere to park it anywhere close by. We fully accept that running accommodation can be expensive and arduous, but if you’re going to be THIS basic, perhaps it’s time for a change of occupation. Booking.com should take this place off their listing…..

Fantastic location. The hotel was smart and very clean.
Fantastic location. The hotel was smart and very clean. Staff were friendly but not many of them. The twin room was quite small for the price.
Attending a swimming event at Hertfordshire Sports Village, so location ideal, only 5 minute walk

Not the cleanest of place had to extend my stay several times for work and was flatly refused mid stay cleans change of towels extra toilet paper even though there’s a £70 cleaning charge in the price and was re charged this when extending my stay yet room wasn’t cleaned till very end at checkout!!
Shared kitchens are a disgrace no clean plates cutlery or cups etc when complained about this was basically told oh well . So had to eat takeaways rather than being able to cook .

Initially looked okay, but then on way to our room, stains on carpets, odd smell, tired decor, our bathroom, dirty tiles shower seal dirty , coffee machine not working only 2 coffee pods, we were allowed a coffee from downstairs to compensate , the girl who made the coffee was friendly.
Breakfast was awful, service not great, the young lad tried to make us eat in our room, limited options , food wasnt the best.
everything I'm a away alone from home staying in b&bs hotels and very rearley
have the opportunity to in self contained little bungalow as this was washing machine full kitchen separate bedroom to livinroom so quite spotless and parking

5 star Highley recommended
Beautiful hotel with comfortable bed, rain shower and bath, plenty of soft towels, good coffee machine. A few minutes walk to the Galleria for shopping. Felt secure at all times.
Best part about this hotel is the staff. They make you feel so welcome and can't do enough for you.
A lot cheaper than Central London as well but not lacking any of the quality. Had a fabulous time and will stay again. Well done.
Great location right next to main road and very close to A1. Only 3 miles from Hatfield House where we had a function.
Rooms clean and fairly well equipped. Some noise to be expexcted next to busy road.
Shame there was no air conditioning as it was a hot night.
Breakfast was ok considering they seemed to be very short staffed. Good thing we arrived early.
Great hotel. Probably the best in Hatfield. Was visiting daughter at nearby university. Very close. A bit of a walk to the train station. Train trip from Hatfield to London (Kings Cross) 27min. Hotel Very close to shopping centre (Galleria). Aldi supermarket not far.
The hotel ambience was fine for the money. Breakfast was included which is added value. The room was clean and toilet had basic items one would expect in a decent hotel. Overall I would say it's good value for money. Staff were friendly and professional.
Good location in Hatfield close to the Galleria shopping centre. Handy for A1M. Hotel has been modernised recently. Room was very clean but kind of small for an executive room. Very nice bathroom. Very efficient heating and AC. Ample car parking.
the place looked ok and reasonable on line. you have to text someone to get your key code for your door. when I opened the door the smell was horrendous. i had to leave in the end and what a surprise the hotel would refund or assist any further.
There was a robbery and everything was destroyed. I couldn't be there. I had to leave quickly. it's very unsafe out there. I survived a horror movie. The hotel won't refund my money. booking as well. The case is reported to the police
Spacious car park; friendly welcome at Reception; nice room with a huge comfortable bed and nice and quiet. However, for what it is it is expensive - a chain hotel would have been £40 a night cheaper and included breakfast.
A nice hotel if perhaps a little tired but there was a sign apologising for any problems as they were renovating so hopefully this will make a big improvement in the future.
We don't stay at the rooms, smell no good, not comfortable and we lost our 88 pound.
Next time we will not booking the hotel by booking com.
We really dissapoint
Location was ideal for Hatfield house and Galleria shopping centre. Garden room was great with everything we needed. Room was clean and tidy thanks :-)
