I paid £140 for one night to stay with my family but unfortunately it was a terrible stay. Room was not as per my expectations. No Hot water at all. Poor cleaning.
Carpet was too old and smell horrible. Hair in bathroom and on pillow case. Staff was not cooperative.
It was a terrible stay in one word if I say. I will never stay there again.

The room was clean The air conditioning didn’t work well The staff were pleasant but required further training The menu was surprisingly limited low budget fare for the price bracket. The food was hot & well served by pleasant staff but low quality cheap tasting preparation of fish in that particular dish Given the popularity of their situation ie the racecourse they could be delivering a much better quality all round experience

We just immigrated from South Africa to Scotland and we needed a hotel that was affordable and clean for our family and dogs while looking for a permanent rental.
Being new to the area the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They could answer all our questions about the area and gave good tips regarding shops, areas and sight seeing.
The location was perfect as all areas around were accessible near town etc.. and we could travel easily to different places.

Excellent 3 bedroomed flat in the heart of Hamilton. Newly renovated, very cosy and clean. Superbly equipped. Location excellent for trips to Glasgow and Loch Lomond and great walking trails in the region. Highly recommended.

we checked in to a beautiful room which was lovely and warm. After a very enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant we returned to no heating or hot water. The receptionist was very proactive, she attempted to restart the boiler and when that didn't work we were up graded to another room no fuss.
what had the potential to be a horrible stay was saved by the excellent staff. and the new room was even nicer
Thank you

Everything was easy to find.
Everything was easy to find.
Breakfast was easy to find and varied choices.
We had take away in room and obtaining cutlery and crockery was easy to do.
Ate at a great Indian just around the corner Bombay Cottage which was great food and welcoming service.
Excellent host. Excellent location near the centre of Hamilton, Hamilton West train station.is only a 10 min walk. Quiet location within walking distance of several bars, restaurants etc. Irene was always available when needed. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend it. Town Hall near the property has many theatrical shows on. Bombay Cottage Indian restaurant 2 min walk albeit public transport nearby if required. Retail parks close by with every shop you could possibly need. Irene was a fantastic host.
This is my third time at the hotel, the staff are very friendly, compared with Holiday Inn Express the breakfast is amazing, also the food I had in the evening is exceptional and very fresh. Free car parking, which from any hotels like this is unusual, but just makes the price so much more competitive and there is a rail station not far away so one can travel into Glasgow. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are comfortable both of the beds on the pillows with excellent shower facilities.
The location of Clydesdale hotel is almost directly neighbouring the Hamilton train station, which has many trains running to Glasgow City Centre which is very convenient. Every day the room was topped up with extra coffee/tea and the owners were very hospitable and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the WiFi/Signal was also great.
The staff at the Holiday Inn Express Hamilton were exceptional I can't thank them enough for their welcoming, friendly, professional and thorough customer care to us as residents, our stay for 5 days was made a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and this was down to the fantastic staff on all levels within the hotel,I can't thank them enough.
The Hotel is Very Clean and tidy, Staff always around for any issues, even 02.30 in the morning, still Happy to help. All the rooms seem to be of a Good Size, and Wow, the Beds are Sooo Comfortable, you don't want to get up for Breakfast 😁 , but if you do, Breakfast is Very nice, lots to choose from. 10/10.
Hotel was nice. Beds comfy. Stayed in holiday inns before and they are always comfortable to stay in and this was the same here.
Check in staff were lovely. I stayed with my 2 dogs and they were greeted as if they were any other guest which was lovely.
We stayed for a night on the way to northern Scotland. Can’t fault the hotel. Friendly receptionist. Convenient location near the motorway, quiet, comfortable room and beds. Good value for money.
The checkout it’s at 11.00 but the housekeeper opened the door while I was sleeping around 10.00
The parking it’s opposite to the hotel so you’ll need to cross a very busy street.
I was happy we had our own space to be spread out, on a long vacation (this place was only for 4 nights of a 2 week trip) it was nice to have a bigger spot than a hotel room.
Clean, comfortable, quiet and good location near train station--all for a reasonable price. Host was very kind and helpful in advising local points of interest.
Having stayed at there sister hotel in Motherwell and love it was hopefull I would have same experience at this property ..once again this chain delivered .
