I only travelled through Cheadle Village on the local bus several times but I remember it from a long way back. There are some local shops along with the chains and a few pubs and coffee bars to rest in. An Iceland supermarket dominates the centre. The abiding feature for me is the church and churchyard of St Mary's at the western end. It is very well kept and a lovely sight at the moment with the cherry trees all in bloom.
Around where I stayed, at The Village Hotel, the suburban houses are all large with well kept gardens and frontages.

Cheadle was a cute town within walking distance of my hotel.
Cheadle was a cute town within walking distance of my hotel. I found a lovely restaurant called Ratatouille that served me very nicely even though it was in the afternoon and I was the only person there. The village has suffered from the pandemic and some businesses have closed. It is a lovely place to walk around and spend some time.

Easy walking distance to Cheadle village, where there is many charity shops but few boutiques and no bookshops! Lots of barber shops and nail bars!!!
Village Hotel bar food was good for breakfast and lunch.
Beautiful walks in Bruntwood Park and another park near Village Hotel.

Fabulous hotel great location for Cheadle and Didsbury where we visited family. Our room had a lovely view over the park. There are loads of good restaurants near by however the hotel restaurant is excellent. Both the restaurant and bar areas are well decorated comfortable places to unwind. There is a fantastic Uber service here which is very cheap to get about. Would make a lovely Manchester airport hotel if you wanted to extend your holiday and go down the night before you fly. There are lots of places to walk in both Cheadle and Didsbury too.

Cheadle is a stones throw from Manchester airport so an ideal place to stay if you have an early or late flight. I stayed here due to being on a course for work (in Cheadle) and didn't fancy the long drive there and back in peak traffic.

Good hotel .
Good hotel .Good staff, Good Lobby/Foyer but the Rooms new decor did not appeal to me. (Loud colours and designs trying to make it look ultra modern) No telephone in the room although website stated room being booked has a telephone , Walk to the reception area was inconvenient to contact housekeeping / room service etc
Loved this hotel! Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the room stylish. We chose the hotel because we wanted somewhere to rest after our flight, before we began our journey It couldn’t have been more perfect. So close to the airport, but quiet and right on a park. Elegant and low key with a just enough quirkiness to make it unique. The Stud Bar had great drinks and food. Later on we had an excellent meal at the Galloping Major restaurant. And genuinely friendly and helpful staff.
This is a gem of a property that really wowed us! We chose it because it’s close to Manchester airport. What we didn’t expect was the level of luxury for the price, the gardens and park as well as the restaurant which was far and away the best meal we had in our UK tour. You won’t believe this place it’s quirky in the decor and swanky in appointments. Fabulous and definitely on our stay list when we return. 15 minutes from the airport. Stay in room 19 or 20!
The innkeeper was very kind and went out of her way to be helpful, even after I had unknowingly miscommunicated my arrival time--and she had just retired for the night. She arranged for my breakfast plans and made sure I was settled. My room was spacious and spotless. The bathroom was modern and high quality. Easy access to the airport at a fraction of the cost of an airport chain hotel. I was impressed and will stay again if I'm in Manchester.
Since we only used accommodation without breakfast, I am satisfied with the ratio of price and accommodation services. The hotel is away from Manchester but has excellent rail links. From the hotel to the station it takes about 15 minutes walk along a very busy road but a beautiful environment. If you stay longer in a hotel, the disadvantage is the proximity to a grocery store or restaurant.
The staff were friendly whilst professional at all times. Nothing was too much for them. Especially the reception & security staff, a particular mention goes to Rahat for his can do attitude and beautiful demeanour, a class act! I will be recommending the hotel to anyone visiting. An excellent service and standard, great value for money. Well done all concerned
An amazing hotel! Comfortable, convenient and quirky in the right way. The staff were friendly and helpful. we got some get local travel advice from the bartender. it’s about 10 minutes away from the Manchester airport, but its location on a park feels tranquil and allows you to walk in the fresh air.
I absolutely loved this place. It was spotless, comfortable, warm, friendly lady who checked me in and so cozy. A taxi was booked for me early the next morning and everything went to plan. This will be my first port of call whenever I’m flying from Manchester. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Nice airy property. Very clean and great position to be able to stroll into Cheadle. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Great bath and shower. Big, well-appointed kitchen open plan to big dining area and separate lounge
Would definitely stay there again.
Lovely and warm. Very cozy hotel, lovely lobby representing a homely living room and very comfortable rooms. The bathroom was a bit small to access and move, but it had all the essentials. Free and easy accessible parking with plenty of spaces.
The location is excellent for Manchester Airport and the Stockport/Cheadle/Bramhall/Didsbury area of South Manchester.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and good value.
The cooked breakfast is excellent...
Oddfellows is well situated near the airport but still within a beautiful wooded garden area so it’s much more pleasant than staying at a hotel airport. The lobby style was lovely and the room spacious.
This past yr had been long and hard and not having seen my child in over 10 months got too meet my new grandchild and the Village hotel was our bolt hole for our connection too our new bundle of joy ...
