We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley.
We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley. As we have family living in the area, we've visited fairly regularly. The countryside around is beautiful. On previous occasions we've visited a National Trust property and other venues, chosen by them.

Went for a wedding in Bacup hotel was in a good location for us. Went by car but looked like there were plenty of bus options. Ate at reception so didn't try any of the local eateries but seemed plenty of places to choose from.
Beautiful hotel, lovely restaurants, amazing staff especially Rudolph who held an umbrella for me whilst my husband went to get the car. We had problems starting our car and Rudolph sorted everything fir us and got us to our wedding on time . Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back again from Wales to visit family and friends 😊

I love Burnley and the surrounding areas, there is so much history here, it is nice to see that a lot of history has been kept with museums and a working mill, for people who are interested in finding out more about their family history in this area it is a rich place of information indeed.
The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, clean and in excellent condition. The location was perfect, as it is within walking distance of Burnley town centre and other attraction, such as Turf Moor and Townley Park, but far enough out to make it peaceful. There is dedicated parking, and the outside garden and canalside seating area is beautiful. The adjoining restaurant and bar is nice, with somewhat limited opening hours. All of the staff that we met were very helpful and welcoming, as was the owner.
We came to Burnley to visit relatives and to see Burnley defeat Reading in a soccer match. The facilities were amazing and my husband had the best ale in all of Europe there. I think it's called me2 or something like that. Worth a trip even if the cab fare from Manchester was 145 pounds. Next time we might rent a car if we can figure out how to drive on the opposite side of the vehicle snd road. Happy Americans from the birthplace of the revolution, Boston New England.
Beautiful 19th century home that’s been converted into a hotel. We are bike touring and this was a nice stop over between cities so we could take some work meetings. while the Wi-Fi didn’t work well the room itself was absolutely beautiful. The concierge checked us in early and upgraded our room (so many thanks!!). Oh and we did end up having such a wonderful dinner and breakfast there. All in all a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend.
Had a lovely stay here. House was very cosy and clean, bed very comfortable. Host was very helpful and very quick to respond if we ever needed him. Good central location to Burnley, some good places to eat nearby we had chinese and banny's fish and chips which were very local. Also near to Pendle Hill and surrounding areas, all of which are worth a visit. We felt that the house was like a home from home.
This is a beautiful facility in Burnley, close to Pendle Hill and many walking opportunities. The grounds are an oasis with nice lawn and trees and an athletic club attached to the hotel. The dining room serves wonderful food and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms were good sized and clean. Parking was available on-site.
It’s a lovely, comfortable house to stay in. Nice location in Burnley to get out and see the surrounding areas as well as being nice and quiet. The kitchen is really well equipped for cooking. All the bedrooms are good sizes, and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. We would stay again next time we’re in the area.
The property was about a mile walk from the Burnley football stadium. There were two bedrooms and it was perfect to have a bedroom with 3 single beds for our 3 kids! The downstairs was very nice and equipped! The host was extremely helpful and responsive when I had questions!
The staff were great, friendly and professional. We got a wonderful welcome from Ashan. Immediately felt very comfortable in the hotel. The rooms are standard holiday inn rooms, clean and functional, we slept well in the comfortable bed. Service at breakfast was very good.
Great boutique hotel in the middle of town.fabulous staff,Marnie In particular, but not taking anything away from Michael,Alison, and Donna.Room was quiet, cozy and spacious.A small safe for valuables would have made it perfect.Would definately stay again.
Room generally big, bed was comfy and linen clean, bathroom shower was good and had excellent pressure. Overall decor of the hotel good, a couple of areas needing attention. Housekeeping staff excellent! Breakfast waiter excellent also.
A little gem of a hotel. Lovely staff, who did their upmost to make our stay good. Room upgraded due to availability which was a nice touch and was definitely the best room of the 3 that we saw! Quirky and an interesting place to stay.
