everything was amazing! I would have preferred if the floor didn't make much noise but everything else was very cozy

We got a very small room in the beginning but they moved us a couple of days later to a much larger one. So very accommodating for everything.
The employees were friendly and HAPPY! It made for a delightful stay.
Food was delicious.

The hotel is beautiful and has a very calm atmosphere. The rooms were the right balance between luxurious and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful and were able to accommodate all of our needs, including dietary variations to the set menu. We were very impressed by the standard of service throughout the hotel, including the spa.

Incredibly charming room. Really well put together, amazing tiny book selection in case you didn't take your own reading. Staff friendly and helpful and the hotel is jam packed with traditional character while being well appointed and modern.

Location really good for what we wanted and within easy reach of Arundel. Good facilities, convenient, clean and great value. Nicely decorated and modern. Couldn't ask for more and the owner was on hand if you needed anything. Will return and this is our second visit

Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes.
Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes. The best breakfast is at The Moathouse just across the bridge. You can walk along Mill Lane to visit Swanbourne Lake, which is free, or the Wildfowl & Wetlands centre. That is free for WWT members but well worth the entry fee if not. A bit further on is The Black Rabbit pub, where you can have a great meal by the river.

Arundel is a really quaint place with a good selection of small shops, pubs and eateries. Juniper's coffee shop & bakery is a must visit. The cinnamon buns are to die for. The Italian restaurant La Campania we highly recommend and the Norfolk Arms a great place to relax and chill. The local architecture and the walk along pass the museum and to the wet land centre really interesting & lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Arundel is a beautiful and very charming village with lots to see and do. A visit to the castle is a must as is a wandrr through the quaint shops in the main stteet (and off to the side). The food on offer in the restaurants was fabulous. We had dinner at The Swan The Parson's Table and the Black Rabbit.
Arundel is a great place to do a walk through the South Downs.

The WWT site is small but with a balance between "kept"...
The WWT site is small but with a balance between "kept" birds and wild native ones. I prefer wild ones and the woodland and reed walks were good with some hides not under repair though the wild birds did not turn up in quantities nor with abundant variety of species.
The castle is fascinating ( a golf buggy will save a lot of uphill walking if used). The medieval "palace" was knocked down in the Commonwealth regime and only rebuilt in phases over the 197th and Twentieth centuries ( the gardens were opened after 2000). The Keep remains and is sufficiently whole to allow one to envisage the ancient reality. The Fitzalan Chapel in the grounds is definitely a place to visit. Nearly 20 generations of Fitzalan and Howard leaders are buried and remembered in the chapel providing much light onto English history.
The town is mall and old and worth a walk round.
This place is lovely and highly recommended. Judith made us all very welcome. The hotel is right in the middle of the beautiful town of Arundel, right next to the Castle. The room was excellent. Continental breakfasts can sometime be disappointing - but not in this case. Also, the selections of cheese, meats and wine we had in the evenings was just superb. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be back.
Private, clean, perfectly appointed, no details left out. The space is great for two people. Having the kitchen was great, especially since the hosts stocked it with essentials. Plus having access to the beautiful flower garden is a great bonus. It is in a quaint little village with a very nice restaurant The George nearby. A visit to nearby Arundel (5 minute drive) to see the castle and visit the shops is a must.
Excellent location right in the center of Arundel. Two bars part of the hotel with a lot of seating in and out, ideal for sole traveler. Breakfast excellent. Compact but nice room. Wide single bed positioned partly behind the wall of the build in bathroom so that you cannot see the corridor lights creeping under the door.
Excellent location, great room with large comfy bed, on-site parking (reserve in advance). Lucie and Iain (the owners) were very friendly and cooked a great breakfast. Excellent value for money and more of hotel quality than a B&B, highly recommended and will certainly stay there again if going to Arundel.
Lovely hotel in a close location to Arundel. We walked from the hotel into town in 20 mins through the footpaths. Room was a good size & very cosy. Good facilities within the room & towels super fluffy. Breakfast was freshly cooked & tasty. We took our dog & he enjoyed his stay too. Plenty of parking.
The location of the hotel is very close to all amenities and tourist locations in arundel and is walkable from the hotel. It is also 2 minutes from the train station on foot.
The railway was not noisy whilst in the room though.
There was a ceiling fan which is good if you have the windows shut.
Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious showers with consistent water temperatures. Bright throughout, well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage; adequate bedroom storage. Good location, and got lucky with being able to park fairly close to The Bakery most of the time.
Very good hotel in the centre of Arundel. Clean, welcoming, and with everything we needed. The staff was very polite and helpful during our stay. Excellent breakfast in the morning and great cocktails in the evening. The front room at ground floor is beautiful.
kind and welcoming hosts, very comfortable and clean room, clean and well equipped bathroom, beautiful garden, delicious breakfast, plenty of space in the backyard, excellent parking, great location in a small village but close to great places to visit.
Perfect location, right on the high street with easy access to bars, restaurants and the castle. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Staff were friendly and curteous. Breakfast was tasty! Loved the cosy bar area.
location good for my visit to Brighton, bonus was that the Arundel village was lovely!
slightly pricey for this type of hotel but guess it’s peak time.
clean and easy process after a long drive.
The bath was just right and the bed was very comfortable. The room was also suitable for our dog. The staff were all very nice. The breakfast was excellent.
