Just a simple, tiny room and privacy. Plenty of hot water. Didn't hear anyone else's conversations, a good thing. There's a mildly stale smell, but when I opened the window for very long I started getting a few mosquito bites. Mosquitoes that I never saw, but the bites happened. Anyway, the smell was not bad. I'm very sensitive to smells, so another person might not notice it.. I was grateful to find this during golden week.

Staff were extremely helpful with good service mind. The room was spacious and quite clean. Overall facilities were kept clean and in good condition despite being a bit old fashioned. Breakfast was Japanese style and lovely, with a plus on beautiful garden view. The portion might be too small for western people though.
