i liked the quietness of the area. having a good rest after a long travel have been met by staying at microtel. The bathroom was neat likewise with the bedroom. The staff were helpful most especially upon checking in. It is definitely a home away from home..

Food trip at the culinary capital of the Philippines is a must! Wide selection of restaurants (both local and international cuisine). Good traffic flow considering that it is a bustling city. Check out Bale Capampangan for affordable yet authentic and tasty local food. Try their adobong balot, damulag steak (like beef steak but they used carabao meat), kilayin, sisig and fried fishes with steamed vegetables paired with fermented rice (buro). After a sumptuous buffet meal, you can drive along Lazatin Boulevard where you'll find a quaint milk tea shop, All Good. They have a decent selection of Taiwanese inspired milk teas. I particularly loved the Black Milk with tapioca pearls (non-tea, milk based), topped with their creamy cloud foam (original recipe of the owner). After filling our stomachs with delicious food, it was time for some R & R (rest and relaxation). There are several spas and massage places in San Fernando but we found ourselves enjoying the cozy and classy atmosphere of 1010 Spa also located along Lazatin Blvd. This place prides itself for having professional therapists who were trained Mandala style. The calming music added to the peaceful and relaxing ambience as their therapist quietly massage you with finest oils and lotions (Pevonia). It is a great way to cap our short visit to the City of San Fernando. A very promising and exciting destination outside Metro Manila (45 minutes to an hour drive via NLEX).

it's fine. it'll be better if you go there with car since booking grab is really hard.. and the public transportation is confusing since i don't live there. hmm maybe I'm just not really good at commuting. have a better trip.

San Fernando City is a Foodie Paradise.
San Fernando City is a Foodie Paradise. It is said that kapampangan cooking is one of the best in the world, and they are right. Any of the well known restaurants in and around the city are sure hits.
