I like the city's urban planning and ease of transport. Traffic enforcers, front desk at the Tourist Info and bus office are accommodating.
The trip to Peace Memorial and cenotaph was moving.
I just wish the city can implement more sustainable practices eg., waste segregation.

Naha city is one of the best cities that I’ve ever seen.
Naha city is one of the best cities that I’ve ever seen. With convenient traffic, you would enjoy the tropical island and unique culture. There are countless restaurants with savory dishes and cuisine near the hotel. Last but the least, the tax free policy of Japan would encourage you to buy tons of gifts for your family.

It's very easy to navigate Naha.
It's very easy to navigate Naha. Even though it's challenging since I don't read Japanese very well but with the little that I know I was able to navigate and find my way around. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores to choose from.

Everything was perfect.
Everything was perfect. The locals, food, the town, the culture. .. It was a truly an amazing experience. I loved everything about Naha. Taxi was my main way of getting around. Some taxi drivers had a few hiccups with using the card machine or preferred using the card as payment for 1,000 Yen & up. There were lots to do and see.

People are nice and it really feels like a vacation place with it's nice beaches all over.
If you want to get around the island you will need a car, but I found after watching some youtube videos that it was relative alright to drive.
I was there in October and found it very hot (over 30 degrees celcious most of the time)
Evening drink service was a highlight. Breakfast brunch was good. Rooms were on the small side but the beds were large and comfortable. Didn't realize the hotel catered to business travelers given the nearby establishments as I was here on leisure. Location has good enough access to the Naha bus terminal and the monorail to the airport. Easy access to nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Was able to leave luggage at lobby prior to check-in. Good value for all the essentials.
Amazing breakfast. Being a vegetarian, I was very positively surprised with the large choice, including many traditional Japanese dishes, as well as Okinawa specialties such as Tofu cheese and Tofu with peanuts. Nice bonus was the delicious and fresh French toast with Mango!
Other bonuses:
- next to monorail station with direct connection to airport
- free locker service
- large choice of restaurants and tourist shops at walking distance (or even less ;-))
There is a lot to love about this hotel. First off, the location. For Naha, you can't get much better than this, right in the heart of downtown, easy to walk to everywhere, with all the restaurants and shops literally outside the hotel.
The hotel is modern and the rooms are decently sized for Japan. Lots of modern touches and the rooms are very comfortable. Shower had great pressure, and they also had a separate bath tub available.
Amazing staff who assisted me throughout my stay. I wanted to go to Zamami Island 🏝 and the staff contacted few ferry operators on my behalf. The free drinks until 2am came in very handy, especially to quench the thirst after a long day of discovering Okinawa. The place is so quiet despite the fact that it's located in on a busy street. I managed to do some work at night in the sitting room.
We wanted to walk around around Kokusai Doori so this hotel was an excellent place to stay for that purpose. Location, cleanness, friendly staff and super delicious Okinawan breakfast. We enjoyed their free Orion every afternoon. If you’re spending your last few days in Okinawa to shop, this is a perfect place to stay. Also, amazingly reasonable price. 🥰🥰
Sun Palace is a nice but dated hotel in the heart of Naha. The Yui Rail is a short walk away, as are Japan's popular convenience stores. Their breakfast was great; they served it ryokan-style. A rotating video helps you find spots to visit in Naha that might not have made it onto your itinerary.
What a little treasure of a hotel.
The food is sooooo good. The chefs need to be congratulated. The maitre d is a gem. We had breakfast, lunch and evening meal there over our stay.
If you do not have their Okinawan Taco Rice and a cocktail you have missed out.
It's a hidden gem in Naha, walkable distance from Kokusai st and bunch of options for local dine-out spots.
Not a hotel room but reasonable, comfy stay, close from local bars which has "Senbero" system(mostly cost 1000JPY for 3drinks n 1 api) n market
Ukishima Inn is very strategically located just moments walk from the central attraction street of Naha with some really cool establishments nearby like Ugami Cat, a standing bar just about 100m down, okinawa soba place called BASE and more…
Aqua Citta in Naha has friendly staff, very clean rooms & the 10th floor pool & bar is a nice place to relax while traveling around Okinawa. I enjoyed the executive lounge access on this trip before heading out to dinner. Thanks Aqua Citta!
The location of the hotel is really good. It is close to the bus station and train station. Also close to Kokusai dori shopping street. I had a great experience spending my summer vacation in Okinawa.
It was a very clean and small but modern hotel. Most favorite part about this hotel was breakfast. it looked like a simple Japanese or Okinawa traditional menu, but I really enjoyed it every morning.
We love the sauna and we use it every night. It’s so relaxing. Every staff here does their best to work. Really appreciate the effort. Thank you! We will recommend this hotel to our friends.
