I did not expect the development around city/province.
I did not expect the development around city/province. It has a lot of big hotels and buildings. I got to try the mom and pop okonomiyaki restaurant at the Hiroshima University and ate twice at Yoshinoya Restaurant at the station. Visited the police station for a transaction that went smoothly. The people we met are very accommodating and kind. The transportation system is very commendable. We did not have the time to visit the tourist spots so we will definitely visit this place again.

3 days and 3 nights is just nice. It would allow you to visit all the necessary sites and allowed for some leisurely shopping. Dormy Inn Annex is good as it is new with excellent service and nightly spring bath. The b’fast buffet is of good quality and nightly free ramen is really a bonus.

We stayed 3 nights in Hiroshima, which gave us 2.5 days to explore. We did a night foodie tour on arrival, it’s an excellent way to get familiar with the city and the food. We stayed within walking distance of the Peace Park, which is a must-see, including the museum. The stories of those who died and those who survived the A-bomb are harrowing but must be heard. Peace is the all encompassing theme for Hiroshima and its people. We also did a day trip to Miyajima Island, took train & ferry, returned by boat to Peace Park, well worth it to see the famous Torii gate and the Daishoin Temple has to be seen to be believed, incredible.
I really liked Hiroshima, it didn’t feel too crowded or busy, the city has a pleasant vibe. I’d highly recommend visiting for a few days.

Essentials for us were the museums, the peace park, the castle grounds, exploring the city center and a trip to Itsukushima Island. Beautiful place. Perfect balance of peaceful and a sufficient amount of night life a short walk away.

A beautiful riverside city with a tragic history but an overall hopeful peaceful vibe. The A bomb dome, Peace Park and museum are all a must-see.
It is an easy city to get around. There is a city tram system (though I did not actually use it).
I made a day-trip to Miyajima island and this was one of my best experiences in Japan.
I have a shellfish allergy and carried a card (in Japanese) but many restaurant staff were uncertain how to advise me what to eat, I was refused service by one ramen shop for this reason, unfortunately.
So I was not as adventurous with eating as I was in other places in Japan.
The city has a lot of oyster-based cuisine.
I would definitely visit this city again if travelling with others who had not been there.
The open roof onsen is a must! It was sooo relaxing and on a cool night in October, the hot water felt just right and melted away all the stress and fatigue of carrying heavy luggage and all the walking.
The hotel feels fancier than the price implies. We were really impressed.
We left our luggage in the morning and when we checked in at night, it was already in our room. It was really so convenient and perfect and the views from the front desk on floor 13 are wonderful. Definitely got some good pictures overlooking Hiroshima.
This hotel is well-located in central Hiroshima. It's a two-minute walk to the Peace Park in one direction, and to access the street car system in the other. It's surrounded by small restaurants and convenience stores are also close by. There is also a laundrette facility (coin laundry) across the road. The facilities are clean and are serviced well every day. It's clear it's a popular hotel with many guests over the several days we stayed. The cost to stay was extremely good too.
The location is the best to view the Hiroshima memorials, including a view of the Atomic Dome outside of our room window. We could easily walk to all the important places. The people in the hotel helped us with everything, including how to travel to the ferry to Miyajima, securing a taxi the day we left for the train station, and even mailing our postcards on the morning we left. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.
Simple yet GREAT hotel in Hiroshima! It is a 15 min walk to the memorial park, with many restaurants and stores options nearby. Comfortable bed and pillows, great shower and nice toiletries. Staff is super kind even though they can’t speak fluent English. Very good breakfast! They stored our luggage until the check in time, recommended nice restaurants around and were always super helpful and smiley. Great hotel option in Hiroshima!
The Knot was a great hotel for our Hiroshima stay. Very close to the Peace Park and many of the sites downtown, and walking distance from some of the best food in the city (we especially enjoyed the Oknomimura :). The room had everything we needed, and the staff and facilities were fantastic. Especially enjoyed the restaurant downstairs, where we had a hearty western breakfast one of our mornings. Would definitely recommend!
Great location near Peace Park and a lot of restaurants. Easy enough to get to from Hiroshima station. Staff were incredible, spoke good English and were willing to help us forward our luggage to the next city (and receive it early from the previous hotel). Great little coffee stand on the ground floor, a coin laundry available comfortable room overall. Shower & toilet were next level.
Loved the QR codes in the lobby to explore Hiroshima. Free coffee and tea almost for the entire day was great. It’s in a prime spot that’s about a 20min walk from the Memorial Peace Park. The staff was super friendly and wanted to ensure we had the best stay at their hotel and in Hiroshima.
Good location. Less than 5 mins walk from Hiroshima station. Next to hotel there is a nice coffee shop.
Clean..bed was comfortable. They have public bath at 10th floor. Women public quite crowded around peak hour
Essentials facilities- washing machines, vending machines , microwave.
If you’re travelling to Hiroshima, it doesn’t get better than this! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, so clean and amenities are awesome. We did two nights but you could easily do more. The restaurants, the pool, the gym, the sauna and location are great.
The rooms are quite big compared to other hotels in Japan. It had a nice view of the mountains and it’s located next to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The hotel has a nice rooftop bar. The staff is efficient and very cooperative.
Very comfortable room and bed. Spacious room with couch and nice bathroom. Well located to explore Hiroshima and many restaurants and bars close to the hotel. TV is equipped with Chromecast so streaming is easy.
Location, room & view were excellent. Good sized room. Hotel is next door to the main bus terminal in Hiroshima, so plane to Hiroshima & then bus from airport to the city & we were right where we needed to be.
We had problems with our luggages using Yamato Transport but Yuriko and all Hilton Hiroshima staff help us all the way through. Excellent Hotel staffs. Will come back again God willing!
The hotel is located close to the streetcar station that goes to the Hiroshima station and the main areas. It is close to the shopping district as well, with many restaurants near by.
Great location, within walking distance of Hiroshima Station and many of the main sights in the city. The hotel is clean and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable staying here.
Comfortable hotel. Very helpful and polite staff. There was an elevator car parking that we had never seen before. Excellent location for visiting Hiroshima.
