Bamburi has a superb beach but access along the coast is greatly affected by major road reconstruction works between Mombasa and Kilifi.
Mombasa city is very close nearby for easy access to all its attractions.
Mombasa airport is within a reasonable drive distance as well as being a good base for Safaris, watersports, or further adventures down the South Coast to Wasini Island and Diani Beach or up the North Coast to Kilifi, Watamu and Malindi!!

I liked their spacious and very clean rooms.
I liked their spacious and very clean rooms.
Their staff were very friendly and welcoming to the guests.
I loved the quietness and serenity of the place. The sight of sea rolling tides was a lovely sight.
The forestry tree canopy was a sight to behold.
However, the the Resort DOES NOT HAVE A PRIVATE BEACH nor do they have AN ACCESS TO THE BEACH. They should correct this misleading information on their Booking.com advert.

The Bamburi area has great views and right on the beach.
The Bamburi area has great views and right on the beach. I would recommend Tuk Tuks to get around to the shopping malls. They would be great for the experience and cheaper than a Taxi. Restaurants and bars are great on the beach and I would recommend staying at a beach hotel. Next time I will be staying in a beach hotel and not 100 yards walk through the back streets of Bamburi.

The Vervet and Green Monkeys raiding the breakfast and lining the balconies to raid for sugar was entertaining - almost an alternative the Hitchcock's the birds the way they lined the balconies in the morning. Food was good, but would have benefited from a greater selection. Being all inclusive, availability of tea and coffee should be longer. Had to pay 5000schillings for a late checkout, but that gave us only the room and use of pool. With the price charged, tea and coffee and snacks or a lunch would not have broken that budget and should have been included

This property is not sufficient for people who have mobility problems after 5 weeks of being on the top floor which can only be accessed by stairs I was moved to a ground floor apartment
I was going to stay for another week until I was informed the rent would increase by 4,000 Ksh per night
We really liked the location of Indiana Beach Apartments. The beach in Bamburi is beautiful and very clean, and one can take nice long walks. Indiana’s restaurant is right at the beach front, its staff is very friendly and the food is good (despite being quite costly). The staff at the reception is always friendly and helpful. We were happy to find a safe in the room. The Wifi reception is okay in the rooms, but quite good in the lobby.
The rooms are clean, hot shower is available, and room service is carried out daily. They also have family entertainment every evening. The food is good. The hotel is a few metres to the main Malindi highway and can access nearby malls easily. The swimming pool is clean and there is a pool attendant every day or you can also jump straight to the beach. It's a family-friendly place to stay.
Rooms with working AC, clean linen, and friendly staff. The location is magical, I got to enjoy the Ocean breeze and access the clean and luxury Serena beach. The security guard at the gate was so helpful! He gave us detailed direction guides around the town. Binti at the reception welcomed us and provided us with all the necessary information. Will definitely come back again.

After four years ( last time ) the hotell needs a lot of maintanance. Pool area are baaaaad shape, round the doors are missing baseboard, the Roof and ceiling are leaking, restaurant area the Fench needs painting . The Holehotell should be painted in few years. The restaurant was better than last time and foods was good.
Affordable... The Location is very easily accessible and is a beachfront hotel with a pool under the palm trees overlooking the Beach. The breakfast and Food are really nice and the Staff from the Manager Rashid to Front desk are very warm and welcoming... Enough, Secure Parking, the Massage parlour is a must visit...

I have visited Severin several times in the past and this is a prime location with wonderful staff. The lodge is literally on the beach with a fantastic view. As a keen diver, the lodge also have a dive centre which is an added bonus. Severin is my destination every time I visit Mombasa.
