Our drivers name is ravind and he did such a wonderful job, I would always recommend him. He was friendly, helpful and translated the animals name in his language. Perfect stay! The location is quiet & the rooms are incredible. Very clean and comfortable: shower that works perfectly, comfortable bed, air conditioning. I went on safari with the host and the value for money is unbeatable: 5h safari, all included (breakfast, entrance, etc.). It really met my expectations! The safari organised was fabulous and really well organised. This was definitely one of our best stays in Sri Lanka & we were really sad to leave. We stayed here for 2 nights. The host is very friendly and answers every question. We had a freshly made watermelon juice when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we had a nice bathroom. There is a food menu, you can choose different dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was freshly cooked by the host's mother and was delicious. Really good Sri Lankan food. We booked a safari for the next day. We can choose different time slots for safari - 3,4,6,8 or 12 hours. We chose 6 hours and took it at 05.30 am. It was a private safari tour so the safari jeep was only for my husband and me. Our host prepared a picnic basket with breakfast for us. After 3 hours we stopped at a very nice place and had breakfast. We saw many elephants as well as various other animals. We had dinner twice at the lodge and it was really good. I can definitely recommend this place if you are planning to go on an elephant safari in Udawalawe National Park.Morje
