Local people, restaurants and bars. Friendly atmosphere everywhere you go and lots of free parking. Some places you pay but very cheap. Fantastic weather, good food and wine, i liked the walks along tejo river but you can also cycle.

In an overall nice and calm place, very nice park, a song of birds in the city center, close to the river mostly friendly people, but rare to find someone who speaks EN. From bad things: roads and unrespectful drivers, ignoring pedestrian signs and pedestrians.

Breakfast served from 6AM is a godsend for both the Caminhos de Santiago pilgrims and Randonneur cyclists who have to make an early start. The arrangement with an external private bathroom is a little bit unusual but perfectly acceptable.
